I like the youth movement better because it has more hope and feels more natural, but they probably have the assets to make moves right now. 1) Barrett, Reddish and a Resigned Mitch Robinson (4 years, 60mm) to NOP for Brandon Ingram. With Zion preaching his desire to stay in NOP, it creates a conundrum that both seem to do better with the ball in their hands. I think it is possible we get draft compensation BACK from NOP with this trade as I have Barrett with high value.
Graham/McCollum/Barrett/Williamson/Robinson is a good looking 5 with Reddish possibly growing into that lineup.
2) Fournier, Toppin, IQ and 2 draft picks to Utah for Mitchell.
3) Noel, Walker and 1 draft pick for Myles Turner.
McBride/Rose
Mitchell/Grimes
Ingram/Burks
Randle/Gibson
Turner/Sims
You can fill in the roster with the Bi-Annual, the MLE and Veteran Exceptions. If the heads work together, it would be a pretty solid team. McBride maybe isn't ready to step into the starting 5. But he is close.
Would be an interesting starphuch and would require the starting lineup to split that ball up a bit better than they have historically.
What is interesting is not the end result which can be debated but the amount of change that is potentially posible with the asset pile we have. Not sure about the money factors to that both now and in the next few years and it does limit our pipeline going forward but that is an interesting squad you present.
