cause its not there. Brunson is a good BB player and has a nice role on offense. Knicks are a 30ish win team. Brunson is not moving that needle enough for all the downsides

You mean like Derrick Rose? The 10-15 win difference you describe is the Knicks with Derrick Rose vs. the Knicks with guys who are not PGs. Knicks sign Brunson

Brunson is a good player but a low ceiling acquisition that ensures we are a first round caliber team while fans bitch about the coach not developing the 2nd rounders we drafted.

I generally agree about Midgets. But them Stout ones are a bit different. Duece has it. Now if he can just hit a ****ing shot in the big show he can really improve his chances. He 21 and still green.
As for Brunson, is he really a defensive liability or is there a “Chemistry” thing to consider? Dallas has no rim protection and Luka Defense is not great either.
