This seems a little racist? Who said he ever smoked anything? Why put that on this young kid?
LOL - race baiting much? Does someone have to be a particular race to smoke dope? Can't anyone make a smart ass sarcastic comment and not have to worry about some humorless frigid social justice warrior expressing faux outrage about something that has no bite at all. And for what it's worth, I know what it means to smoke plenty of dope in college and have it impact productivity.
Back on point - I've watched Ivey play about a dozen games this year. This was the absolute worst game I've ever seen him play. Dribbling off his leg, bad passes, bad shot selection, getting emotional and rattled, throwing the ball in disgust. Him reacting this way when under pressure is not a good sign.
I wasn't going to reply but you trying to act so tough made me have to reply. Fake outrage? This make me think more of what your comment really mean. I also know of people smoking weed and playing better so that don't fly homie.
Your supposition of racist comment is out of left field and has zero meaning here. I'd walk away from it.
How is this from out of left field? Is it because you are not thinking about it because it has not been associated with you because of how you grew up? Like I said I wasn't going to say anything else but talking tough and trying to call me out was not going to stand.
Cause a lot of people get slow when they smoke and you and I and a lot of other people know this and that's the context and if you just read the post you know it was more of an offhand joke in that regards.
Actual racism is entirely different. Post had nothing to do with, you know, race. It had to do with smoking weed and its effect. Maybe it's weed'ism.
And yes, lots of sports people smoke weed. White, black, yellow it dont matter, just athletes. ATHLETES smoke. Students smoke. Guys and girls smoke. Old people and young people smoke. I'm smoking right now. Fish started the morning smoking and is fiiiiiinnnneeee all day long and that's not me being racist against Fish. And you know what? They some times get slow or funny or space out or whatnot. There was no line of only a certain color of athletes smoke and because of it they are inferior to another race.
I think you need a better definition or understanding of racism IMHO.
