Shane Larkin/Scott Machado range.
What will translate are his fundamentals. He is a very technically sound player. Non elite athlete. Doesn't have the insane first step needed to be a smaller player and carve a heavy role in the NBA. He might grow and that would make a huge difference. Lots of guys in his position are already taking PEDs. If he is and does and this is all the burn he has, then his ceiling is as a 4th guard in the league based on his last name. If he hasn't yet, then maybe there is a some more wiggle room with his ceiling.
He's a decent defender at his level. But his current size and scaling up to higher competition, odds are he'll get cooked at the NBA tier. He needs a plus range three point shot to help himself on offense.
The larger problem with Bronny James is LBJ will want to play with him one year and then try to push his way into a GM role with the Knicks. And Dolan likes "brand name" heads of the front office.
It's more likely Cleveland than New York. And I'm OK with that. Let LBJ ****ed up the Cavs again and leave the Knicks out of it.
