Perhaps you;ll learn to pull back projecting and just enjoy whats infront of you. Last seaosn was not guarantee of future success and many pundits told you ahead of time. Its ok; but dont act incredulous that it did not turn out that way because you choose to ignore it.
And last season also told us unxpected good things can happen.
You remind me of the type of person who enjoys criticizing other fans more than you do talking about the game of basketball.
But I'm sorry. I forgot. You're the bestest fan in the while wide world who's always right never wrong doesn't miss the days of making the playoffs every year throughout the 1990s never gets frustrated with losing years. You're the bestest fan in the whole wide world.
Words like...
▪︎"proclamations".
▪︎"backs you into corners of despair".
▪︎ "Perhaps you;ll learn to pull back projecting and just ENJOY whats infront of you".
Who do you think you are? Who are you to tell others how to feel as a fan and to ENJOY this losing season?
Get over yourself already.
Fan forums are where like fans get together to analyze, commiserate, celebrate etc. They are communities of sorts. I would venture to guess that Hyper, Histrionic "Look at Me" type posters might consider growing a thick skin - as the attention drawn with constant grand positive or negative proclamations will often cause adverse reaction from other forum members.
Personally - I'm not giving up on the season yet and my current focus is following for potential trade activity. Failing that, if the Knicks fall way out of it, I would like to see more time for Deuce, Sims, Obi and Cam - if only to build a bridge to future outlook and projections as a fan.
