Knicks need what literally every team needs. Good management and a little bit (or a lot) of luck. So far the management has been OK. We had max cap space and signed role players. That sucks. Drafts have been very good and so has coaching and culture.

Truth is I think we are very early in "the process" and this roster is going to be very different in a year or so.

Please, call it something else. "the process" makes me think of 10 win seasons and 25 game losing streaks. And I don't give a **** that Hinkie got them Embiid before getting fired/quitting.

I hate terms like “it’s a process” and “true rebuild.” That’s when I know not to expect a franchise to even be competitive for 10 years.

And RJ being the starting SG frees up the starting SF slot for Zion next year.
Although that would make Fournier a pretty expensive backup SG...

Trying to look back at who we could have signed, that wanted to be here, this past off season? DeMar is the only one I can think of but did he not sign early with Bulls?

two guys I wanted to throw big money at were Dermar or Conley. I got laughed at by the UK crowd for suggesting we bring in Dermar for a 2+1 even if it meant giving him something 3/$85mm

"no floor spacing"

"he's too old"

"not good enough on D any more"

"not clutch"

OR use the cap space to get some other asset.
