Sheesh man. Not here to judge our lists but Ewing #7 and Lin #5? 1 month of Lin vs Patrick Ewing's knees 15+ years? To each our own.

Phil. I'd love to see your list of 1-15 with current 2021-2022 Knicks players?

Ewing was a douche in real life. From what I;ve heard he mellowed out as hes gotten older but he was a diva in the 90;s
I met the big fella a couple of times as a kid in the 90s and he was always super nice to me. Always signed my stuff and took pictures! He was a douche to the media and I don't blame him!

Yup. Same here. He visited my elementary school PS 100 in South Ozone Park Queens in 1995 my 5th grade year. He was awesome the speech he gave us about chasing our dreams no matter the environment we're in and the importance of writing our goals down and to always focus on education before sports his words 26 years later I still remember.

To call him #33 a diva and a douche when he played with heart, backed down from no 7 foot man and had a 7 gamevWAR vs Hakeem in 94 one of the greatest Center Finals matchups ever?

10 years of 1990s playoff basketball vs Chicago/Miami/Indy? Never missed the playoffs in the 1990s?

And these are the words I'm reading from Phil? Almost speechless. Never heard a Knicks fan hate Ewing thank God message boards weren't around for me as a kid Ewing was my basketball NYC hero and legend today.

Such a douche that tears came to Shaq when talking about Ewing. His coach Georgetown Thompson adored Ewing.

I'm still waiting for Phil's top 1-15 Favorite Knicks (in order) here in 2021. Rather than fill in the blanks he rather trash Pat.

I used to live in Ozone Park

Hey all I have are my own experiences and the experiences other people I know have had with Ewing. No one had anything good to say about the guy though even worse could be said for Jordan. I know people in the Army who knew Jordan through his brother and I’ve also met others who interacted with him they all said he’s a jerk

IMO unfair to call these guys out as "Bad Guys" without examples.

Personally I can't make up my mind on who are my 15 favorite players in an order. I support all of them! Except Knox - can't stand him! I do have a Randle and RJ jersey though so I guess they are the top two but planning on getting an IQ jersey too.

Jordan is an *******. You can see it in his interviews. Does not diminish his talents.

Mase was partying with underage girls (it was reported as contributor to why he was traded away from NYC).
Starks was a jerk at times too. Remember the golf clubs incident in the playoffs? Using the corp jet for numerous grandmother deaths?
Him and Mase idiot techs at bad times in games?
They were knuckle heads but they were our knuckle heads and we loved them in part because off it.
My point is players on court vs. off are two things. sometimes players like KP cross a line. Spree did in GSW but was good with us until the missed camps and broken arm thing became too much for management.

Players can be *******s. We grownups.

The only Jordan story I can actually tell on this site is my buddy at work got to go to the bulls locker room after they beat the Knicks in game 4 of the 1996 playoffs. His uncle was an assistant coach. It was the game in which a wide open Bill Wennington hit an open jump shot to beat us. Wennington was celebrating in the locker room and Jordan started to yell at him and said he didn’t really win the game because he got him the open look. Jordan was being so mean to the guy it created an awkward eery vibe in the locker room and no one could even talk after that

1. Clyde
2. Butch Beard (dude actually played me one on one when he was some sort of "chief rehabilitator" and the Knicks had training camp at Monmouth Univ. And yes, he beat the living sheehit out of me. Surprise)

4. Sprewell
5. Ewing
6. Melo
7. Bernard King
8. X-man - Fuck Pat Riley

11. Randle - just because of plane to the gym
12. Debusschere - two rings, and I managed to go to his jersey retirement game
13. Starbury - for what could have been
14. Ken the Animal Bannister/Obi Toppin
15. Lin - for those electric few weeks

How you can put starbury ahead of Bannister is beyond comprehension! LOL.
Butch Beard was cool! Glad you had a moment with him!
For your 65th birthdy someone should hire Melo to jump out of a Cake for you.
X-man was like a Bald superhero before the bald thing was in. Yul Brenner preceeded it. Telly Savalas validated it, X-man bought it!
Good list. ANyh list hat has Bannister and Eddie Lee is a good one.

Ewing spent what seemed like at least 10 years annoying the living **** out of me setting "picks" 35 feet from the basket. And he finally got hurt at the absolute worst time. Spree's game was electric at both ends of the floor so he gets the nod. Hey, it's my ****ty little opinion, okay? I've got Butch Beard ahead of Ewing.

Starks? Okay, missed him, my bad. 0 for 18 in the Finals makes it kind of easy (for me, anyway) to forget The Dunk. Same with Oak. I can't get seem to ever get those pathetic airballs out of my mind despite him grabbing a million rebounds.

Hopefully I'll be completely done with my ME70 therapy sessions and cured of my MoobyLove before my 65th. And didn't Slick Watts have something to do with bald validation, or was the angled headband just too distracting? MJ was that far before X-man's time?

Dr. Garnett: Now folks, this is really for the best, so just open up and be honest.
jrodmc: Alrighty, here goes... my name is jrod and it's been 15 minutes since my last Melo defensive episode. Look, I know we didn't get a chip, I know Coming Home was some sort of Dolan-hyped rightwingnut conspiracy, but people, for god's sake, he scored 62 damned points in 36 minutes!!! Mr. Clutch!! He dragged effing Fishlips to the playoffs! Come on--
Dr. Garnett: INTERVENTION! INTERVENTION!!!

Lee was a fan favorite during a very, very dark time but the guy couldn’t put the ball in the ocean

So he’d fit in here

Dude. This is a Knicks forum. If you have a problem with listing your top 1-15 players and in order? Imo its because of a hidden agenda.

You're hopefully obviously kidding about our ex-all star center who's actually No-D-get-out-of-posterization-range-at-all-costs-Lee?

You obviously mean you'd rather take David Lee out on a date over Julius Randle, right? Right?

And you left Frankie Nklikina off your list.
