This all or nothing mentality will always perplex me. I get they aren’t playing well but you don’t throw in the towel and rebuild after 30 games. You have to have patience and look for ways to get better without hitting the reset button every time things aren’t going well.

I think people want to avoid late lotto picks. We see how that always worked out poorly for us. The bad thing for us is now that draft odds have flattened we need luck to get a good pick. We never get lucky with picks. I think last year the stat was after the Ewing pick we have never moved up during the draft lotto.

And the 12th worst team in the league now makes the playoffs.

100 agree.

They need to be fielding calls for every vet on the roster. Kemba and Burks are on very reasonable deals and can help playoff teams.

There is no sense in battling to sneak into the 8th seed and getting drilled.

Rose going out could be a blessing for now, allowing Thibs to play Deuce. We need more assets and lottery picks are what we need.

I agree we should be rebuilding/tanking, but I’m not in a hurry to trade Burks and would only move Kemba if he wanted to.

Even a rebuilding team needs vets to show players how it’s done and we can’t just go out and get slaughtered every night. Oh, wait, we’ve been doing that just fine.

The Knicks need Myles Turner?

Why?

So you guys can BASH him more than you do Julius Randle?!?

😅🤣😅🤣😅🤣

He was drafted in 2015...

2016 = 1st round bust/elimination.
2017 = 1st round bust/elimination.
2017 = 1st round bust/elimination.
2018 = 1st round bust/elimination.
2019 = 1st round bust/elimination.
2020 = FAILED TO MAKE PLAYOFFS (34-38).
2021 = 13th seed @ 14-19 (worse than our KNICKS).

This guy has not only failed to make it out of the 1st round every single year (x6) but he's failed to improve his overall game every single season.

2nd year = 14. 5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 blocks.
3rd year = 12.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.8 blocks.
4th year = 13.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.7 blocks.
5th year = 12.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.4 blocks.
This year = 13.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 blocks.

And you guys are wanting to trade away younger talents for THIS GUY? Someone who can't make it out of the 1st round and has the same exact game as he did once drafted ala failed to improve, statistically speaking?

And stop pretending he's some type of stretch 5 with 3 point ability when he's got an awful career 3PT% of only .354%

He's a career 12.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game and the most overrated NBA player by NYK fans and you guys want to trade for this overrated Center?

😅🤣🤣😅🤣

YOU GUYS WOULD HAVE TRASHED HIM AND RAN HIM OUT OF TOWN 5-6 YEARS AGO DUE TO BOTH FAILING TO IMPROVE HIS NUMBERS AND FAILING TO MAKE IT OUT OF THE 1ST ROUND.

You draft Centers, but you do not TRADE for UNDERACHIEVERS like MYLES TURNER.

Some say R.J. Barrett has "failed to make the leap at 21 years old.

But at 25 years old it's been 7 years now and Turner has NEVER made a leap 😅🤣

Y'all have been fixated on this kid since summer.
Wherever you fixate on someone that long that's never the move that happens.

The guy is in his 7th year and never ONCE made it out of the 1st round.

And he's also failed to "make the leap" because his numbers/production have been EXACTLY THE SAME during his 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and now 7th year. He's never once IMPROVED and is still the SAME player he was in year #2.

He's the most overrated NBA player (by NYK fans) in the league.

KNICKS FANS WOULD'VE BEEN TRASHING HIM FOR 7 YEARS NOW 😅🤣

We need fresh meat to bash/blame. We never think “team needs to execute better”, its about change. “My suggesting is…….Because we are losing and if my idea dont’ work, what is lost? If it works, I can puff my chest out and say TOLD YOU SO and I will be respected for it”.
Naturally nobody is accountable but the Knick FO and coaches whose actually have to consider things that bend our brains. Fans can second guess. A broken clock is right twice a day. Some of you are broken.
Myles Turner is a good player and i’d say as part of the Pacers they just never go the chemistry right.
The “Equal value thing” is some hindsight ****. Indy looked bad but got Dipo who played great until the gruesome injury. Sabonis proved better than expected. PG13 returned from his gruesome injury back to form which had some risks itself.
They played the Dipo injury well enough to not get burned. sabonis is a beast. Not at PG13 level but decent.

your shtick of mentioning Jets stuff or Elf just doesn't work at all. Ever

In fact, it's kind of tedious

Just trying to figure out how the suns are so successful while Elf rides pine. It’s impossible

Maybe save that for a Suns board or just yourself cause no one else cares.

The application of irrelevant sarcasm does not work.
If your taken serious, its moronic.
If its a stab at humor, it fails.
Either way it don’t work.

While it might not be original i think it's humorous enough. On a scale of one to 10, 10 being something that makes you burst out laughing,I think it's a solid 6

Elf on the shelf or we talking Elfred Payton lame deflection comments?

In France Fred Weis was a good player and Jerry Lewis was a comedic god. Perspective if all relative.
In my mind I rooting like hell for Kemba. But in a world were knicks are not better than last year (yet?) and we “Upgraded” from Elf to Walker, why are we not better?
Yes, there is lots of blame to go around. Elfred Payton is not a great player, and Thibs did not have better last year. Yet, his play was not the issue for the whole season. He tailed off. True. I get it. Nalod never has called for his return.
Or stream a jerry Lewis movie!

You might be stretching it a bit a there. How about rewording that to read "Fred Weis played pro basketball in France...and he was tall."
