No need to apologize. We were all fooled by last season, especially by Randle. Never did I think he would decline this badly. But it's not only him. Is any vet playing as well as last season? Nope. Rose/Burks/Noel are not having the same impact. RJ has declined too. IQ has stayed the same pretty much. Only Obi has improved. And Kemba has been a huge bust and Fournier is not impacting the game overall as well as Bulloch did.
All we can do is hope for the best. I have a lot of trust and believe in Thibs but he's is not a miracle worker. The only way this turns around is if Randle magically returns to last seasons form and is followed by RJ shooting 40% from three consistently and Noel starts anchoring the defense like he did last season. I honestly don't see it.
A trade would help too. I really hope we have something lined up for Kemba on Wednesday. We need a trade that will bring in a vet who can spark the team like Rose did last season. Not sure what is out there.
But if I had to predict the outcome right now, I think we're looking at a 10th seed, play-in tournament at best. 
Seriously, the day I got worried was the first Chicago game, near the end. The team ****ed around in the final minutes to try and get Randle a triple double. Chicago came back and nearly won the game. At that point, I had serious doubts about how seriously this team took the season. They seemed to have a lack of urgency and a sense of entitlement, as if they already arrived. This team isn't good enough to win on talent and Randle still has a lot to prove. He's not good enough to turn it on and off.
