We've all lived through a lot of NY coaches over the years and coach Thibs is one of my personal top 3 favorites of All-Time (alongside of both Pat Riley and JVG).

Coach Thibs = 60-51 (.541%)

David Fizdale= 21-83 (.202%).

Larry Brown = 23-59 (.280%).

Derek Fisher = 40-96 (.294%).

Kurt Rambis = 9-19 (.321%).

Isiah Thomas = 56-108 (.341%).

Jeff Hornacek = 60-104 (.366%).

Herb Williams = 17-27 (.386%).

Mike Miller = 17-27 (.386%).

Don Chaney = 72-112 (.391%).

Mike D'Antoni = 121-167 (.420%).

Lenny Wilkens = 40-41 (.494%).

Don Nelson = 34-25 (.576%).

Mike Woodson = 109-79 (.580%).

I've really appreciated the culture change under coach Thibs and if he could lead Chicago to an Eastern Conference Finals while taking LeBron James 7 games? I believe he'll be able to lead us far here in NYC too. I might question his lineups and rotations from time to time but I don't think I can ever be too hard on him and/or ever become some type of coach Thibs critic. A lifelong childhood Knicks fan growing up? I think he's perfect for New York. And he's just only getting started too.

Throughout the 1990s we made the playoffs every single year. We're currently 1-0 @ making the playoffs here in the 2020's and I'd love to see coach Thibs on our sidelines for another 9+ years because we'll then return to the 1990s in terms of never missing the playoffs.
