And I don't understand how come he ever stands outside the lane - he is just such a threat near the basket.

This is to give Patrick Ewing room to operate in the low post.

At some point I’d like to see Thibs give Quickley some real opportunity as a starter. He’s plenty strong enough defensively for what thibs wants from his PG. Start Burks as well for the extra playmaking. Move Fournier to the bench with Rose and let him get his confidence back against second units where he can have some more freedom.

Might be in bad taste, but I laughed anyway.

Wow I didn't know that. Thank you for this post.

Immanuel Quickley is going to develop into an NBA star as a combo guard.

IQ and McBride are the future PGs. Kemba and Rose are leading by example. Trust the process.

I believe in IQs ability to play PG but I think Deuce McBride is more of a natural PG.

PG: Deuce McBride.
SG: Immanuel Quickley.

I think that's the (starting) future right there.

I don’t know if IQ’s game translates as well to being a starter. He’s an energy guy off the bench kinda similar to John Starks

I've said it since day 1.

Immanuel Quickley reminds me so much of Steph Curry during Curry's 1st two seasons of NBA play.

This kid is a sniper. His 3PT range is unreal.

Immanuel Quickley is going to become an NBA superstar as a combo guard @ PG/SG.

Superstar? Why go there?

Your thinking seems to operate in the extremes and it'll catch you and you'll have pie in your face repeatedly for zero reason.

Don't draft the guy you liked? ALL HELL IS BREAKING LOOSE

Predict something that has 0.00000001 chance of happening? WHY

60 win season after like 2 games? WHY

Steph Curry made 317 3s made during his first two seasons combined (722 3PT attempts).

Immanuel Quickley has already made 171 3's during his first two seasons (456 3PT attempts) with still another 49 games to go.

Yes. I believe Immanuel Quickley has superstar potential as a 3 point shooter.

171 made 3s?

During only his first 93 games?

I don't think any Knicks shooter has (ever) gotten off to this type of 3 point shooting start (that IQ has).

Heck Allan H20 Houston combined for 193 made 3s during his first two years in Detroit.

And Reggie Miller made 159 3s during his 1st two seasons combined.

Immanuel Quickley is already@ 171 made 3s with 49 games to go.

What Immanuel Quickley is doing at such a young age from beyond the arc is something super special.

You know what? I am not going to feel bad when most all of your ridiculous predictions don't come to fruition and folks pile on you, cause you will deserve it.

You are taking stats and trying to fit them into your argument instead of growing a picture of a superstar. Which you now have backed off to just a 3pt shooting superstar.

IQ shoots volume. Nice. He is shooting 35% from 3pt land this year. The amount of attempts and makes should be considered.

ALSO, when you compare different era's of shooting, behold you get 3pt data that is not relevant. PACE.

Steph has shot like 43% from 3 as a STARTER while teams key off of him for his entire career.
