He gets the ball and goes east-west or passes it right away. He needs to show a mid range game and also take it to the basket, be more aggresive. His outside shot looks bad again. He def is not ready to start.

Toppin is perpetual motion. Movin’ and groovin’.

Defenses have to actually work.

He deserves more minutes.

What Obi brings to the game is what’s missing in the starting lineup.

1. Transition buckets
2. Points in the paint
3. Increases the teams speed
4. Perpetual motion
5. Moves the ball
6. Young legs
7. Iron man as far as physical health
8. Brings joy to the game
9. Feeds the fans with infectious energy
10. Momentum swinging highlight dunks
11. Low salary hit
12. Unselfish

I wouldn’t trade obi. He’s the perfect type of player to play next to a high priced superstar.

I say we use this checklist to determine who we should trade.

Obi is our best finisher around the basket. Next step is giving him more opportunities in transition and with PnR in the half court. The 3 will eventually become consistent with enough work.
