I personally think its Tyler Herro and its not even close. He has looked the best this season. He is averaging 22pts 6.8reb and 4.4 ast a game off the bench. He now has that Luka magic where every tough shot he throws up goes in.
Nobody is a frontrunner for anything after 5 games.
This seems to be the source of so much back and forth here.
Me? I can't even begin to understand how sports fans haven't absorbed the FACT that the first handful of games is usually not very predictive, it's probably even deceptive more than it is indicative.
I don't think you understand what being the front runner means. It has nothing to do with predicting who will win at the end of the season. It simply means who is leading at this very moment. For instance, in a race if runner A is at the front of everyone else and they are only half way to the finish line runner A is considered the front runner even though the race is still on going.
Watched a lot of races, never seen anyone call anyone a frontrunner less than a 16th through the race.
The astute analysts are too busy talking about the strategy of who is likely going to win the race, not who happens to be on front, who always never is the winner.
You never hearing someone say it early in a race does not change its definition. Now you know what it means so we no longer have to argue about this. Have a good night and lets hope the Knicks win this game.
