JJJ with his ability to stretch the floor (and everything else he can do) would make everyone better.
Similar to a Turner deal, i can see a deal centered around Obi and Mitch, but with more draft picks included. I'm not sure what Memphis' plan is. They seem stuck between wanting to compete and wanting to save money/rebuild. Jackson has injury concerns, and we will have to wait on an extension there, but giving Jackson's connection to the front office, coaching staff, and area, I'm sure they are keeping a close eye on him. In fact, with all of the Turner talk, i'm surprised there isn't more talk about Jackson.
Memphis might have concerns about his health and extending him. Should we too?
Memphis seems to be similar to us and really new post tank era. Not tanking! Does not pay. OKC moved back and Rockets who sucked from the moment they bolted Harden did luck out.
They had a great draft and perhaps the criticism they got last year was not warranted. Its why we say “give it a few years to see……”.
We laughed at Suns thinking Booker was there for us, and ATL as they did Swap for Trae and Redish for what became Luca.
Even Knicks we at from woeful to 4th seed in one season! Parity is more prevelent in the NBA and money is too substantial to be wishing on saviors like Zion walking away. Trades are expensive. Home grown is the NBA gold.
WE got very lucky with Randle!!!!! RJ is the wild card now.
Memphis Moved Valachunas for Steve adams. Until otherwise noted they will play him and perhaps bring in Jackson who could play the 4. From office connects with his dad does not change his value to Memphis or his medical. Advantage is his dad likely knows his issues intimately. But his dad also wants him to get paid big time also!!!! There exists a conflict.
