Another Team USA Gold Medal.
Now 4 consecutive USA Gold Medals in a row.
Now 16 USA Gold Medals All-Time.
The Global World still hasn't caught up to American basketball because we just sent out our C-Team with most of our best players sitting out and (STILL) won Gold.
This wasn't the 30 point blowout I was hoping for and expecting but nonetheless our team USA got the job done.
& And you mean to tell me that this was the exciting brand of FIBA basketball that everyone was telling me about? That crap was straight up *****cat ball. Soft European (flopping) basketball. USA couldn't touch them let alone look @ them wrong without being called for fouls before the European refs sent France to their little free throw line.
FIBA International Basketball is soft. It's absolute CRAP. And the worst brand of basketball I ever had to watch.
Thnx you team USA.
For showing the World (once again) that Americans are better than the World at their own crap brand of FIBA basketball.
At this point I hope in 2024 we send our NCAA College kids into the Summer Olympics because these Europeans can't fk with our American kids.
Either that or in 2024 send out our A+ USA roster in order to destroy every Country by 40-50+.

Thnx you team USA.
I'm french and I have absolutely no problem with the fact that the us team was the best on the floor and deserved to win but this kind of post does not make me want to engage in a discussion with you. Luckily, people like coach Popovitch show more class than you.Regarding the FIBA basketball diatribe, you honestly prefer the constant flopping of Trae and Harden, constant double dribble of every players? The 15 steps before a layup of Lebron, the role players being whistled for a foul every time they even look at a star?
If FIBA basketball is soft, what should you say of the NBA no defense, we score 140 points/game era?
FIBA basketball is not perfect but neither is the NBA. You really should show a modicum of respect for the rest of basketball world.
Well I personally hate FIBA basketball.
And I couldn't stand so many Europeans on another forum telling everyone how "the global world has caught up to American basketball" because it's disrespectful to say things like that when we just sent out our C- USA team without the likes of LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns (both and raised American), Zion Williamson, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson and even Julius Randle etc.
So no. The world has not "caught up to American basketball" and even our USA girls are going to win their 7th Consecration Olympics Gold Medal tonight with 54 consecutive wins.
In closing. Just make sure you remember one thing as a Frenchmen before attempting to trash American and NBA basketball. Your own French players from France such as Evan Fournier, Rudy Gobert, Nicolas Batum and Frank Ntilikina etc leave "FIBA basketball" and leave your own Country for both America and the NBA. And so do so many other European players from other Countries of Europe. Always remember that. And wake me up once you begin to see NBA Superstars leaving America and the NBA for European Countries and for "FIBA basketball".
You may take pride in FIBA basketball but I don't and you shouldn't expect other American born basketball fans to respect it either. I personally dislike FIBA basketball and glad I only have to watch it every other 4 years.
But yes. Congratulations on team France giving us our 1st loss in 17 years (game 1) and for beating Luka Donฤiฤ and Slovenia during an epic game and also for giving team USA a run for it's money during the Olympics Gold Medal game. I 100% respect team France I just can't stand FIBA basketball.
