my hope is that Kispert falls to us... I know mocks have him picked before 19, but as he's a senior I think it is possible that he falls to us

MooK wrote:Trey Murphy's an underrated prospect I hope we consider. Has elite size to play the wing at 6'9 with a 7'1 wingspan and the tools to be an elite defender. Shot 43% from 3 on high volume and has nba range. Sneaky explosiveness around the rim and has shown flashes of being able to create for himself. Solid 3&D player at worst but I'd definitely take him over Knox. Plus he's from Virginia and Tony Bennett's system seems to produce solid wings. Hope he's on the radar.

He is Knox with a motor and defense.

I like what he does but we need a wing for the starting 5 or bench that can create off the dribble more.

Reminds me of Kyle Anderson. I like him if Greg Brown is off the board at 32.

You know I gonna spin wit it

as for predicting who will be available at our range now, that seems like a fool's errand... that said, the one guy I expect to be available when we pick is Johnny Juzang and I would take him at 19 and I would take him at 21. ****, I would trade up to ensure we get him

The more I’ve watched prkacin the more I think it’s a no brainer at 19 IF available. We need a Sf badly — he’s a very smart basketball player who does everything well including his excellent handle which I love. I actually like him over Bouknight and Giddey now. He’s also only 18.

I don't know much about him but moving up from 19 seems high. Can he put ball on floor? Defend?

What is different about him than a guy who is taller than IQ?

He looks good. Would create mismatch problems for many teams we play. Hope his shooting comes around.

Compare him vs Vrenz Bleijenbergh who would you pick

I'd say Roco is more ready from a physical standpoint. I see PF in him (physically) than SF. He's probably got more polish offensively too. Vrenz seemsnto have more upside, but will take more time.

As I have already written, but no one has noted, Roko is PF which in my opinion eliminates him as an option for us. It’s funny to me when I see on some mocks that we’re taking PF because it doesn’t make any sense. We have Randle playing 35 minutes per game there and a lottery pick from the last draft.

Roco much tougher player than vrenz and I don’t think it’s close. As far as pf/sf— the way he handles the ball like a pg who cares. Significant difference between these two players. Vrenz to me has soft euro written all over him. Rocco tough physical 3 level scorer — no doubt you can see huge difference on tape

Juzang seems like a Burks jr. to me - he is a one on one scorer and in the tourney he was an assassin, but my issue with him is he hasn't been doing it for that long and he isn't a crazy athlete by any means. Most mocks have him going rd.2 at the moment, and I doubt he stays in unless he has a strong first round promise. He transferred out of Kentucky- so there's that connection, but given how non-descript his time was there it may not be helpful.

To be fair, he was playing behind Quickly, Maxey and Hagans. He left Kentucky and was able to showcase his skills. Not uncommon. My real issue is his defense. He's not that good of a scorer where he can remain weak on that end of the floor. He's definitely a second round option tho.
