Thibs has my vote. He did more with less. No disrespect to Monty though

That award should have gone to CP3

That's how I feel too- I like Monty a lot and he's done a great job, but if you switched coaches this year (This as Suns and Monty as Knicks), would Monty have gotten the same results as Thibs?

No doubt in my mind that if we had CP we would have the best record in the NBA and contednering for a title this season.

But some of you were so hung up on his contract and age and thought OKC was a fluke, well look at them now(OKC) and look at the SUNS.

Don't you give Booker, Ayton and Bridges any credit for the Sun's success? There's a reason CP3 chose the Sun's.

Of course those guys are important, just like RJ, Bullock Burks and Noel are for Randle

I'm just saying, we have CP over Payton??

They showed the winning % of each team that CP had joined, every single one took a leap in the standings, and his teammates played at a higher level MENTALLY...we withstood a lot of teams comeback this yr, but against the suns, CP killed us

STILL...At the end of the day, THIBS deserved that award, a 20 win improvement shattering projections..

“But some of you”............Yeah, Leon was wrong to listen to “Some of you” but instead should have listened to you?
First off, its not on the UK to make these decisions and if you really want to brag then tell us how you reconcile the trade and translate who the Knicks would have sent via trade and how that would have affected them. Lazy ass just assume you add CP3 and nothing changes. Fail.

Chris Paul and Abdel Nader to the Suns for Kelly Oubre, Ricky Rubio, Ty Jerome, Jalen Lecque and a 2022 first-round pick

Oubre had far mor value than Bullock at the start of the season. Rubio as well more than Payton.
Think DRose stil comes. Of course you do. What about Bullock?

Thibs was incredible and the year over year is a big deal in our eyes.
Monty did a great job and respect.
But Utah was still a game better with the top in the league. Does Quinn Snyder not get it as well?
congrats to all!

thibs was Robbed! What does Monty do without CP3?

Utah has been a perennial winner since basically just about always.

The Knicks? For goodness sacks - we sucked last year and basically added what in terms of personnel?

I normally discount cries of Knick hate in the media because we have sucked and we have deserved it.

But the media messed up with their pick. Sorry. Phoenix a ton of talent with CP3 and how many #1 picks in the last several years?

Would anyone here trade Thibs for Monty?

I love the play in. one game. Means there is so much riding on the line.

Maybe they should ditch the playoffs and have several 1 game competitions- or perhaps go like they do in some of the soccer playoffs - 1 home game each, combine the scores!
