What an incredible season, especially for us fans.

On this forum wow we've even been through one helluv a lot.

We sure deserve this as do all Knick fans.

To have a team we can feel proud of, one that embodies what New York fans and Knick fans love and want to see but have had to suffer for so long without, arguably even the Melo playoff team was different.

That plays defense, exhibits teamwork, hard work, resilience, dedication, an awareness of fans' feelings on the team, players who have taken REALLY harsh criticism to literally being wanted to be traded and instead proving us all wrong.

Has A+ coaching and A+ level front office movement (bringing in Thibs for THIS PARTICULAR roster, the assistants, IQ draft/trade, and the highway robbery that was the DRose trade)

I will relish this season as one of my favorites as a fan as well as one it's really nice to have the kind of almost complete camaraderie within the fanbase that will disappear fast until we become champions.

Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

They will have a week off during the playin torny, and we still have a 4th seed to capture.

The last thing you want is a rusty rested team that's been sitting for 2 weeks to start the playoffs. If this was the last game and there was nothing to pay for, then I can see that.

You want to go in playing your best

I’m in this frame of mind. No doubt don’t rush anyone back but keep a well running machine going. Nothing crazy. If Burks needs time let him mend and let frank get some time in the event he is called upon as he has been.

ATL. There roster is loaded and its no slight on knicks to recognize it. Might be more fun to beat Miami or Bucks. I suppose losing to either is no shame. ATL? Seems that would be worse or that just fan arrogance? I can’t say I’d rather have one team vs another but they sure as hell better be worried about our defense!

Only 3 games left. No use resting anyone. I like going into the playoffs sharp.

Remember last football season when the Giants had a playoff birth on the line and the Eagles essentially tanked the last game and the Giants missed the playoffs? I don't believe in doing this unless all playoff spots are solidified. To me it's not just about us, it's about the integrity of the game. The Kings still have a chance to get into the play-in game over the Spurs. We are still in a position to move up to the 4th spot.

I've just never been a fan of not trying to win every game. Of course, if guys are hurt but could play if they had to, sit those guys and let them heal. But if players are healthy, I say play them.

100% - NY Giants in 2007 played the final games...something to be said for elevating into the playoff run and not taking it easy. Rest in the post-season! Injuries, though, heal up.

I rarely agree with 1248..but this is spot-on. Rest and lose < Play to win

This isn’t an integrity issue. I’m saying keep the players who are injured out. And as for Randle and Barrett, they are nba Ironmen but clearly they are banged up too. Resting them 1 game to close out the regular season isn’t jeopardizing integrity in any way. It’s about giving hurt players a night off. Seems we are the only ones who haven’t done it this year. Although I will say that I’d like to get quickley and Burks back for a game or 2 to knock rust off.

Right now Sacramento is hanging on by a thread to get that last play-in tournament spot. If we just sat everybody against the Spurs and losing that game eliminated the Kings you think that's good for the league? There are still things at stake for both us and other teams. I guess I'm old school but I don't think about resting healthy players unless the game results have zero impact on any team including ours. You play to win.

Besides, we have three straight home games. They're not going to be traveling. Maybe you rest healthy guys in that Boston game. 2nd game of a back to back with likely no playoff implications.

We wouldn't be "sitting everyone." I'm talking about players who are on the injury report. Rose, Bullock, Burks, and Quickley are all injured. And for Barrett and Randle, that is my exact suggestion. Resting them against Boston, the last game of the season. We are saying the same thing here. I'm just saying don't rush back injured players with us locked into the playoffs. And maybe give Randle and Barrett 1 game rest (they are banged up clearly) prior to playoffs.
No doubt. We're on the same page.

One of the great things about this team is these guys don't want to take time off. They are young and hungry. Randle and Barrett don't require rest days. This is a highly motivated group not interested in going thru the motions at any point in the season.

The last thing we need to have happen is Randle twist an ankle or knee in the last couple of games of the regular season.

I'm happy to go up against Milwaukee. You've got to beat good teams in the play offs at some point.

You rest hurt players. I've always thought if you manage/rest healthy players to avoid injury, you're just asking for trouble. Not saying the Three R's should be playing 40+ each, but holding them out is foolish, unless they are hurt.

Such a great, enjoyable season following on such a bad year! Love this team and the hard work all the players put in, its been a joy to follow and support them! Honestly, this time last year was so bleak- the low point for sports was when all sports had been cancelled, looked like there could be no knicks basketball for years and all we had was that awful cheaply filmed game of H-O-R-S-E- that was the ultimate low😂

Thank you Celtics, the Knicks have clinch a top 6 seed in the playoffs this year!
