Nice thought, but we cant have a backcourt for long, where only one player can be counted on to produce offensively. We've tried that with Prigs, Calderon, Baker. Doesnt move the needle enough.
Frank has the proper role right now, situational PT. Considering his consistent lack of production on offense. Frank should be grateful to Thibs that he's still finding minutes for him. Especially since he's got two way players ahead of him. Frank shows he can average double digits on offense. Without heavy minutes. Quite sure the PT will be there for him. Believe thats all Frank ever had to do, since getting drafted.
Frank no doubt has been a fascinating study. 4 coaches in 4 years, three team presidents, and longest tenured on the team.
For all our wrangling of opinions over the years the only ones that court are Thibs/Byrant and the front office guys. If another team wanted him I’m sure a trade could have been done. Its possible Thibs digs him as longer term project and thinks he can get the offense out of him as a wing.
I’m sure we are all fatigued by any arguing of presenting what we think/feel?
His chummy chats with Zion might indicate the kid is a good recruiter? LOL, who knows
?
