Rivers supposedly heard talk about bringing Rose in before the season started, so this was planned all along. Guess we have our starting PG for all of Thibs’ run with the Knicks.

Doubt Rose can hold up. Not as a starter. Some of it depends on what Leon Rose sees as Quickley's role going forward. Is he the heir apparent starting PG? Or is he better suited as instant offense, off rhe bench? Quickley is physically ready for the NBA, of course. But Leon might want a taller, bigger, starting PG. Better defender. Believe we will know for sure in the offseason.
The FO could either draft a PG, or trade for one. If Frank gets an extension, and no other moves are made at PG, that should confirm your theory. Hope you're wrong. Its a big mistake for the FO to bet the next few years on Rose staying healthy. As a backup, sure. Much more realistic role at this stage in his career
