Should rose stay as starting pg?

Ok. I’m on the Rose bandwagon. But it isn’t lost on me that we gave up 120 in that win to a worse team. I’d imagine possession count was higher in that game, I mean, we were scoring pretty much at will. Rose, IQ and Burks were on fire and Randle had his very solid 21 pts.

I’d stick with Rose a bit cause he was pretty magical. Just want to keep an eye on our defensive chops with Tose there.

The only reason to start Payton is to keep up his trade value before the deadline...
No way Payton fits here long term. Would love a 2nd rounder in this or next year's draft...

This is a moot point. Quickly won’t start for Thibs unless we happen to lose every PG instantly. It’s just what it is.

At least he gets minutes when he is playing perfect. Hopefully he is perfect tonight so he can have heavy minutes.

Quick should play the minutes with Randle and Barrett over a larger sample size.

Ian Begley had a great segment with BJ Armstrong where they were discussing the relationship between Thibs and Rose.
It was a great interview and the way they were talking really made me laugh.. these guys have a very very deep connection

At one point they were making fun of them hanging out and watching film together.. ROFL..

Rivers supposedly heard talk about bringing Rose in before the season started, so this was planned all along. Guess we have our starting PG for all of Thibs’ run with the Knicks.

Hard to argue success or chemistry when rose is on the court. I don't see any player on the roster that would push rose to the bench....that Thibs trust. I believe thibs will find a way to give rose major mins, but also give IQ and RJ quality mins. It's a tricky balance thibs is managing.

Doubt Rose can hold up. Not as a starter. Some of it depends on what Leon Rose sees as Quickley's role going forward. Is he the heir apparent starting PG? Or is he better suited as instant offense, off rhe bench? Quickley is physically ready for the NBA, of course. But Leon might want a taller, bigger, starting PG. Better defender. Believe we will know for sure in the offseason.

The FO could either draft a PG, or trade for one. If Frank gets an extension, and no other moves are made at PG, that should confirm your theory. Hope you're wrong. Its a big mistake for the FO to bet the next few years on Rose staying healthy. As a backup, sure. Much more realistic role at this stage in his career

Rose showed last night that it’s possible to create for others while getting yours. Made some nice buckets and did well to set RJ and Randle up and he’s not even a great passing PG.
