Would you guys trade Toppin, Knox, and 3 first round picks (2021, 2023, and 2025) straight up for Beal? The draft picks in 2021 and 2023 would be the better of the 2 picks (NY and Dallas) going to the Wizards leaving us with the lesser of the picks. Essentially we would still have a 1st round pick every year except 2025 and still hold onto our most important core players who are contributing in Randle, Barrett, Quickley, and Robinson. Obviously Toppin is the toughest piece to move but Knicks are invested in winning and the assumption is Randle is a long-term commitment for the team regardless. Core of Beal, Randle, Barrett, Quickley, and Robinson without completely dismantling long-term draft picks. This type of deal would be easy to do for LaVine but it's a definite overpay. I'll say for LaVine a fair deal would be the same except no 2025 pick. Would you consider these? I'm still undecided.
Toppin, Knox, 2021 1st, 2023 1st, and 2025 1st is fair value for Beal
Toppin, Knox, 2021 1st and 2023 1st is fair value for LaVine (I'd prefer this over the Beal deal)
Neither trade is a smart move for the Knicks...stay the course and only make smaller trades

I want to see the knicks young core of Mitch, Randle,RJ, Quickley and Toppin be joined by Ball and Lavin during the season. That is something that is impossible to happen, I know. That said I would Rather see the knicks just stay the course and probably make small deals for center help or added shooting. Lets see how far this group can go. Maybe aside from the 2 first round picks the knicks have, that can try to lure a star like Kawhi Leonard or Oladipo and maybe get Lonzo to sign as well at a discount in the offseason. That would be nice.

If we check the numbers Lavine is shooting from 3pt line and his total FG percentage, it can be argued Lavine is the next big superstar. And exactly what we need. Problem is, after the kind of year he is having he is like Randle. Went from trade now to lets build around him. So Bull will probably hold on or ask too much.

If knicks don't mortgage entire roster & all
Owned draft picks..

I'd definitely want Bradley Beal only if Ny
Don't part with Julius Randle.

Give up few draft picks <not all> and team
Can part with Robinson , Quigley, Knox,
Others..

However Randall must stay!

Trade for Beal starts with Quickley. Trade for LaVine starts with RJ. I would rather pass

So let's go back to being the same 'ole Knicks and doing things the way we've been doing things for the past 20 years? Why not just stay the course and draft and develop our own Bradley Beal?

Wait for them to be free agents.

If we can’t get cade or suggs I believe signing a young future pg at a good price is our next step this year. ( iq fan but I see him as a backup pg spark plug/6man... yes when he is like 26 he could end up being our starter like how Charlie ward did)

Just making the playoffs this year is a huge step! ( get in there and scare someone is the goal)

Imo this is the first true rebuild I’ve ever seen. ( unless they mess it up this year)

A all star wing would be the next step.

The fantasy....Randle and another all star to be determined one of our 10 draft picks becomes a surprise all star. You then have a team with 3 all stars and 2-3 fringe borderline all stars possibly.)

My dream (all stars)big 3

Randle
Insert your favorite guy
Draft pick ( we have close to 10 ) ( or trade all our picks for a third all star down the line

Borderline all star play

RJ
Quickley
The pg we pick up
Robinson when he matures physically

( if we build correctly we can challenge for a championship for over a decade. If they do it wrong we will be mediocre for 2-3 years and fall back to the basement. This is a crucial time for this team

I spent my entire childhood and adolescence watching the Knicks compete for a ring at a high level. I want this kind of period back for us.

Exactly. If we want to go after these type of dudes in free agency, fine. Trading our assets chasing them is a step backwards in terms of our management philosophy.
