It sure feels that way. Randle came into this season a better 3pt shooter, free throw shooter, playmaker, leader, and he's playing tough defense. Superstar-type stuff.

Yeah But Randle was just as suspect as KP when you have a Inexperience Coaching staff, and a dysfunctional FO that specialize in TANKING.

Don't know how you can even compare the 2 when they both have different Roles, Randle's not playing next to Luka, and KP is not a Point Fwd, Also Kp is just coming back from a 20 month lay off.

Yes you're right. And my comment wasn't comparing them. What i meant was Randle came into the year better in all of those categories than he was last year. Obviously KP is a better shooter and defender when you compare the 2. They are really completely different players. But Randle improved his game in every aspect which is impressive. He's the best player we have had in a long time as he is playing right now.

Yes. More important Ra doe wanted to be here while KP did not. KP is too injury prone to rely on and honestly hasn’t taken that next step while Randle has. Now you an argue KP has had to deal with injuries which slowed his growth but the fact that he is always Injured is a rev flag. Fact is the Knicks dodged a bullet and ended up with some extra first rounded which is huge

One thing i always find fascinating is Porzingis is less than a year younger than Randle. It feels like Randle is much older for whatever reason but they are at the same point in their careers essentially.

How, when KP had a almost 2 seasons off.

And it's sooo not true that KP didn't want to be here, he just didn't want to be here with Mills or Phil jackson.

I don't care how much you love the company you work for, If your not on the same page with your manager and you think he's and *** hole, your going to leave. Why some fans can't see it that way is beyond ridiculous.

I just wish we had both KP and Randle

They are about the same age and have been in the league almost the same amount of time. Not a sizeable difference. The amount of games they played only matters to a certain point. Randle missed his first entire season too if you remember. Just because Porzingis is always hurt doesn't make him a younger than he is.

He didn’t want to be here his brother and him demanded a trade pretty much. Either way we Dodged a bullet and are better off. Knicks are finally things the right way by accumulating assets, building a young core through the draft while add some veterans around the core without overpaying like they did in the past

Why do you think we are comparing them and need to taking into account the past in the way you have?

I'm comparing them now. And I'd guess Luka would rather have Randle on his team because he knows about the durability problem. And the rebounding and toughness problems.

. Yeah I don’t get it. 1248 seems to think many fans have a “tanking mentality” which is ridiculous. Look I admit I used to be a KP fan but I stated to realize that he had major injury concerns the way he is built. Plus his brother and himself were becoming a distraction. Most important he didn’t want to be here and pretty much demanded a trade. At the end of the day we got Randle, more flexibility, and two first round picks. So I’m happy with the result
