Its not on TV, only the free NBA radio preview on nba.com.

Dallas is just playing with far more energy, the Knicks are unable to take it inside on the Mavs while the Mavs are taking it to the rim on Every Single Play. Size is going to be a major problem this year.

Also, with 2:58 left in the 3rd quarter...Marbury has 6 assists, everyone else has ZERO.

Ariza in the game, Knicks better, still can't stop Dampier. Ever. Damn. Good thing we signed Vin Baker instead of holding back our MLE for Damps or signing Chris Andersen.

I'm sure Damps would have taken the MLE to come to NY instead of $73 mil to go to a title contender.

BTW, Isiah did hold the MLE for him anyway. He signed Vin not just coincidentally the day after the Dampier trade was announced.

Just checking through the stats, and Ariza continues to impress me. He is EXACTLY what this team need. An athletic, defensive minded swingman who can rebound.
5 pts/7 rebs/2 steals in 17 min. I'm praying, if anything, he develops into a defensive stopper.

Ariza with a monster slam along the base line. The Dallas announcers laughing in disbelief saying, 'he's got a bit of ups, doesn't he?'

Sweetney and Ariza are the only ones playing at all well. This makes me think they're the only ones trying at this rate. Just a bad shooting night, they fell behind early and guys stopped playing. Ariza and Sweetney are fighting for time and not else is going on. I would've hoped Nazr fought a little more, but Damps is destroying everyone.

Crawford in particular is shooting awful right now, another air ball....

Well, one semi positive to take out of the 4th quarter is Nazr was far more active on the boards and on offense. He got up to 9 boards after having 2 going into the 4th. Its not much, but maybe he's awake now.

ive never EVER of a game where only 1 person ended up with assists. Marbury 8 rest of knicks 0 dallas 26

jyd NO rebounds in 14 minutes

this is my opinion. we need to establish a C Nazr is the closest thing we have to one. imho--we move KT to 6th man and move Sweetney to PF using Baker as a touch up guy

something like

Nazr 28 minutes
Sweetney 35 minutes
Thomas 25 minutes
Baker 8 minutes

we also need to keep on the lookout for a better combo G off the bench everyone of them stinks andersen brewer norris memphis has to cut someone and we might need their cuts.

Knicks were brutal tonight. Good thing TT is hurt with a minor injury, let's see what Ariza can do as a starter.

Ariza and Sweetney are improving, too bad they can't keep growing.

I think the Bulls will be a decent team this year. Nice athleticism and height, Deng is playing great, and Hinrich is a very good guard. The Argentinian they signed is playing well, too. He's averaging 12 points, 7 boards. Deng's averages are 14 points 7 boards, Curry 14 points 4 boards. They're put together well.

Bottom line is the Knicks will struggle against teams with talented big men. No shock here. They need to figure out a way to get an upper hand in other ways.

Why is this team not pressing? Marbury, Crawford, Ariza, and Brewer have the ability to press or trap opposing teams and totally take teams out of the game. Why this hasn't even been experimented is beyond me. It's time to utilize this athleticism and quickness and press teams, make them run, and try to create a lot of turnovers. Make up for the lack of height with that, that way the other team can't even get it in the post.

Also, the rumor out of chicago is that Frank Williams may be cut. He'd be a nice fit, as we saw from the playoffs. He's basically Brewer with game, great passing and decent shooting.

Again we would all love Frank back, but why would he? No playing time in his future and Isiah had to go out and hand money to people exploding the roster, unless he is going to use these peopel to take back contracts, i don't see his logic

good point Sm00th. that's exactly what i meant when i said they have to play to there strengths. they need to utilize the quickness they have. they need to be like little roaches in a brooklyn apt, annoying as flock!
