I am interested to know more about Obi's game. Definitely can understand he is nervous or a bit out of sorts as a rookie. His game does seem to be more predicated on a PG who will get him the ball in spots he can dunk and move downhill with?

Don't care for his post ups, seems like he could maybe physically overwhelm players in college but doesn't have the strength to do it in the NBA.

Also thought his shooting or shooting touch would be better but maybe that's just nerves

He is really good in transition, I don’t think he’s had one transition bucket with the Knicks. He was great off of screens and at sealing the defender and leaking to the basket. He is a great around the rim which isn’t what Thibs is doing with him. He took about 3 shots a game from distance and shot the ball well, I think he was around 40%. He had a lot of space in college from the outside because he was tough to defend in the paint. His shot looks different now, a lot more arc then I remember. I hear you about how he posts up, the slow way he backs the defender down. He got away with that in college but the size and strength of bigs in the NBA are a different world. He is a good passer, when he was doubled he always found an open guard.

I am not too worried about Obi. I think it is just disappointment at seeing Haliburton perform and seeing Obi already having problems.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though - he was hurt and is taking time.

I was never completely sour on him. You can see his composure out there. He can pass quite well and to go with that he see's the floor well. (I think he was a PG in HS before he grew too much!)
