I know, one week they look lottery bound, the next week they look Elite.

That’s exactly right!!

Therefore making long run term declarative statements after each game is probably not wise.

Possibly not wise, but it does wonders for board traffic...

I think we are .500 this year. We are young and have some depth. I am banking on continued improvement from RJ/IQ/Obi/Mitch/Knox (we will see if RJ/Mitch hit a wall). Hard to imagine Randle and the role players playing much better than they are but I think Thibs has a good group he can lean on in Burks/Rivers/Bullock/Elf/Noel

Honestly, a .500 team is extremely frustrating sometimes because they are not consistently good and are not consistently bad.

It's like watching a player that takes terrible shots that go in.

Disagree with this. We suck unless we add/would have added Denzel Valentine, Cam Reddish, Nesmith, Woods, Wiseman, Pritchard and _________(Everyone feel free to fill more in). And of course, only if Quicks was ready for the NBA.

Glad to see you are in a happy mood Briggs. Knicks looking good. LoL

BJ Mullens?

Call him "Byron". lol

Haha, u want to know frustrating? How about Eddie Curry trade or Bargniani trade or pretty much most trades in the last 20 or so years. Ditto lottery picks. Oh wait, you wanted to talk frustrating. How about our own picks winning DPOY for other teams(Noah) because we traded them for garbage? Porzingis situation and trade was frustrating. Anusha Brown? Trevor Ariza? Those are frustrating.

Being .500? It would have been frustrating if we had mortgaged our future to bring over the hill All Stars and all we got was a stupid .500 record. That's would have been frustrating.
We are .500 but we got there not with some hot shooting or easy schedule. No, we got here with D and internal player development. While keeping all our future picks+. That's the best scenario possible as a fan at this stage of the rebuild

. Agree. 1248 has always been a big supporter of trading draft picks For veterans. The problem is we did that for over a decade with awful results. Now we ate building through the draft while adding pieces around it but keeping our future assets which is smart

This is mostly coaching and effort. This team has out worked almost every team they played. However this team lacks talent and for all our picks we really haven't drafted all that well. Frank, Knox, Obi are bench fodder if we get lucky. Really we should be much further along. Imagine if we had just drafted Mikal Bridges and Haliburton how much better we would be.
