He is an RFA this year. Not a ton of contract value even though he is a great upside player. He was necessary for CLE to take Taurean Prince as a salary dump.

Wall and Victor together seem redundant.

I was worried we’d sign Victor in the offseason, but surely the Rockets must be re-signing him otherwise why would they give up LaVert for an expiring Oladipo?

How long before KD loses his mind? Bet Kyrie (and his ego) makes a quick recovery. Doesnt want to lose that number 1 spot to Harden.

Nets got worse defensively...It should be KDs team but Kyrie was still taking the most shots. I don't think Hardens presence will change that if and when Kyrie returns.

4 1st round picks is a ton....oh yeah...fluck the nets!!!

The amount of assets given for this one player is so much worse than the KG/PP trade.

Payton vs Irving - Payton. I mean, showing up is like 90% right?
Barrett vs Harden - Barrett. I mean, showing up is like 90% right?
Bullock vs Harris - I'll let Harris have this one. But Harris' 3pt% is higher than than his FT%. Raises eyebrows.
Randle vs Durant - Randle. Durant is scoring more, but we are talking about a guy that only played 8 out of the last 90 games the Nets played. Randle has more assists, more rebounds and marginally fewer points.
Robinson vs Jordan - Robinson. Not even close.

Rumor has it that each of Irving, Harden and Durant will be allowed their own ball on the court at the same time during red shirt scrimmages.

Levert was turning into a star ... there gonna miss him... plus there two top bench players ... there gonna have to play top notch caliber to win with a bunch of g league role players

Now all is left is for us to trade DSJr + 1 Dallas first for Kyrie, and let the fireworks begin! Now that is what I would call a rivalry!

Im not talking Shit until we are actually competitive with them.
They never learn? team been to playoffs last two years and...........They have 3 stars.
Fuck them? Fuck us, What have we done since they made the absurd trade for Pierce and Garnett? Not like we been "the shyt" have we?
At best they or any team has a 25% chance of winning given health issues. Not easy to win a chip.
Nets are like any other team not the Knicks to me. I'll watch national games here and there as they are interesting.
Cav's now have Drummond and Allen? KLove as well.
Wall and Olidipo will be interesting if they both stick.
Jack Ma been seen lately? Last week he had not made a publuc appearence in about two months.
He has been at odds with the chinese gov't. They portray him being outspoken.

Im not going crazy over this trade. It feels like the nets just made a Melo trade of their own. They mortgage their future for a championship window. Granted that the nets are 2-3 steps better than when the knicks traded for Melo. Now looking at the Nets team, it has no depth and no youth to continue their success. I dont like the fit of their big 3 as well. Its like they traded for Harden who can do everything that kyrie does alot better and more. For a Big 3 to work somebody has to sacrifice something, with their big personalities i dont see that happening.

I would have been envious of this nets trade if they also shipped out kyrie and got some picks back plus Sabonis. A big 3 of Harden, Durant and Sabonis is a better fit in my eyes than a Harden, Durant, Kyrie team up.

The Nets have a very strong chance of contending for the champions this year if they get ample support. But for me the more interesting story will be all the stories that will come out from the weird mix of personalities they have assembled there. Nash has alot on his plate, i dont want to be in his shoes. 😜

It would have been nice if the knicks took part of that trade and got Lavert to solve the team's shooting woes. But what would have been the cost? I wont give up RJ or Randle. But Lavert would be a good fit on the knicks.

I would think the three had to be on board with the deal. MDA obviously knows Harden. is a fooking evil genious and if anyone can figure it out its him.

Yeah IM jealous. Nash is still better than any PG we have!

One day we too will push the chips in the middle for a deal and won't like the long term ramifications of it. Nets are Mercinary Free agent starphuch wet dream team. Like a video game.
Don't think for a second Dolan would not order his FO to do similar. Last year I thought Lakers did not have the depth to get it done. They did.

Is it the 35% 3pt shooting or the 49% eFG% that you are thinking is the solver to the Knicks shooting woes?

Or are you just comparing an upgrade to anything that is better than RJ lol
