I'll be 59 in a few months. After spending two years trying to keep up with two jc ball players, my plan B of being the oldest rookie in NBA history has finally gone by the wayside.

Hopefully, my private NBA (summertime pickup at the Jersey shore) will start up again in the spring, once this stinking virus finally burns itself out.
Growing up with Clyde and Debusschere and Willis and Bradley was special. You can't take that shine off of MSG, no matter what fuhucked up things Dolan does or how long we spend winning 17 games a season or what ex-Presidents and other media trash vomit out about the "Mecca". For those of you too young to have the 70's mean anything real, all I can say is that sucks.
The 90's were great. Even without a chip. Ewing. Glowering, smash mouth basketball. You can come to the Garden, just don't drive the lane. Loved that sheehit. Riley and his suits. The Dunk. Starks telling stories about Safeway. Always wished BK had stayed. Mase channeling that funky little Dick Barnett jumper. Oak enforcing while rebounding and astounding...Spree, Houston, Camby, KrazyEyes dragging us to the Finals...Spree dueling it out with Duncan...Ewing healthy, even that old, maybe things end differently... it was there to be had...
Twenty years later and it's a lot of dysfunction, bad trades and a couple of fun seasons with Melo, Woody and the grandfathers. Jayzus, I've been posting here that long?
If a chip happens, it happens. It doesn't, keep hopin'
Blue and Orange.
