The announcements of trades and signings is just part 1, execution of those deals is always delayed and often change just slightly Gordon Hayward signing was announced but he has not literally signed a contract Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

Plus, this kid really may have the pg skills to run a team. He was forced to play shooting guard in college but he played pg in high school and signed with Kentucky originally to play pg. Knicks may have just gotten the steal of the draft with this kid. The way the kid moves on offense reminds me of Ray Allen. He really knows have to move to create open space for his shots before the ball even gets to him. I hope the Knicks bring him along slowly and then exploit his latent passing ability ala Bam Adebayo. Use his strengths in shooting the first year or so and maybe put him next to Frank off bench. Next year is the year for the upper level PGs Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

But they definitely should start developing his pg skills later in the season to give him some tape on what to work on in the summer next year. I don’t know if he can be a pg, but if he can, with his shooting, he might turn into a legit starting point for us in the Terry Porter or Chauncey Billips type mold. Trust the Process
