We could've had him if that's the package the Lakers are giving. No big loss.
I think the Lakers actually just got better. God forbid we get a Lakers vs Nets finals again.

Agree. LeBron has been running the point in LA. Shroeder might let him play off the ball more. We'll see if OKC moves Paul next. Thought they were going to trade Paul and keep Schroeder.
Edit: There is A Berman article on the front page about a possible big 3, with Harden going to the Nets. Id love it. Watching Kyrie and Harden fighting over touches. And Durant melting down over the dysfunction. I just hope they give up a lot of draft picks.
lol
If they put those three together they will get a trip to the finals. Doubt they would be worried about missing out on Knox, Nitlikina type picks for the next few years. Ie. Knicks world.
So many slept on KL and LBJ when they had an injury year. Only to be reminded of how good they were when they returned and won it all. Feel many are doing the same with Durant and Kyrie. Add Harden and its a probable chip.
Westbrook and Paul couldnt make it work with Harden. Who still chokes in the playoffs going back to OKC. Irving is with the Nets because of his history of being a lousy teammate. Durant left OKC because he was sick of a ball dominant PG. With Harden he would have two.
Throw in Irving's track record of serious injuries. Durant has yet to show he hasnt lost a step. I wouldnt pencil them in as a sure thing.
That's not true at all, he had plenty of options before he signed with the NETS.
If he wanted the knicks, Mills would have signed both KD and Irving faster than you can say CAA, and Knicks fans would have been super excited for the possibilities going forward.
Kyrie, CP, Westbrook are better than any PG we have had since walt frazier, and are still better than 95% of pg's in the NBA today.
Funny how Butler was considered a Bad teammate until this season
