He's a steal in the 2nd round, but I wouldn't call 27 way too high. He came into Kentucky as a 5 star PG recruit, and he didn't get much opportunity on the ball, but he's 6'3 with a 6'10 wingspan so he should be able to play 2 positions. He also shot lights out from 3pt and the FT line and put up good numbers as a soph. He's a 2-way combo guard who is probably a top-5 shooter in this draft.

Good shooter and good on-ball defender, but he has a lot improving to do before he can become a primary ball handler. Plus, his frame kinda limits who he can defend at two-spot. There will be prospects with higher upsides at #27. "Way too high" is probably an overstatement on my part, but I think it's still a bit of reach. Now, that pick wouldn't bother me as much if the Knicks got another second-rounder. That would give them more leeway in terms of gambling on a pick or two.
