I don’t want him to die or anything. The democratic process needs to play out.

I don't see it as strategic because I think it is a bad thing for his campaign. It plays out well for the other side. My family all got it very early on because my wife works in an emergency room, and while my wife, son, and my father all had very mild symptoms, my mom (who is 72 and has no underlining conditions) was down and out for about 6 weeks. This could feasibly impact him until after the election, particularly given his age, although the virus really does effect everyone differently. But Trump being Trump, I think his goal will be to break through this whole thing like some self-perceived superhero.

You are probably right. In terms of this not being strategic. But I do not put anything past them. However, if he does come out of this OK, which I feel he will given all the medicine the leader of the free world has access to that regular folks don't, he will obviously play it in his favor. Claiming he was right all along. That this is less harmful than a mild flu. That the overwhelming majority have nothing to worry about. That the Dem's are just blowing things out of proportion with the fear they try to push. And his base will all agree and claim he is a hero. Once again ignoring the many that have died and the many more that will add to the shameful numbers.

The Trump era has been a circus sideshow. Still feels like I am watching a low grade fictional cinematic production.

Don’t forget his buddy Herman Cain was part of the anti mask rally crew then contracted the virus and died from it. I thought trump would change his perspective a bit but he’s too far gone at this point. I don’t see this playing in his favor at all.

Id rather he survive lose the election and get locked up. Him passing away will have him avoid the humiliation that he and his base need to experience.

The Republican donors who attended Trump’s fundraising event in New Jersey yesterday are reportedly panicking following news that the president has tested positive for coronavirus.

CNBC reports:

GOP donors have been reaching out to Trump campaign and GOP officials for any guidance following the event, according to a person briefed on the matter.

‘The donors have been texting and calling. Freaking out,’ the person with direct knowledge said. This person declined to be named as the conversations were deemed private.

Trump’s campaign, as of Friday morning, has not sent out any official guidance to many of the donors involved with the event.

About 30 to 50 donors came close to the president Thursday night, this person added, while noting most of the interaction with Trump took place outdoors. Many of those contributors who have been able to get in touch with GOP officials have been told to stay home and reach out to their physician for next steps.

New Jersey governor Phil Murphy has instructed those who attended the fundraising event to “take full precautions, including self-quarantining and getting tested.”

Evidence that Barrett should be denied based on her low IQ. Not like the CDC is telling people to wear a mask. Yet she is not smart enough to listen.

All those anti maskers look so unbelievably thick as soon as there is an outbreak amongst them, they must surely realize at that point how dumb they’ve been.

From Rawstory..

During a segment on MSNBC this Friday, political analyst Ashley Parker expressed skepticism over the White House’s claims that President Trump’s coronavirus symptoms are “mild.”

“So far, we are taking the White House’s word that they’ve put out that the President has mild symptoms,” Parker said. “This is a White House that lies, this is a president that lies and says mistruthful information. So it’s important to take into account what they are saying, but we actually have no idea how mild or severe his symptoms are.”

“It’s worth noting that since he tested positive, other than that tweet, we haven’t heard from him, we haven’t seen him, he hasn’t even called into Fox News or a radio show, and that has raised some questions about how truthful they are even being about the President’s condition.”

To be fair, in a lot of the more severe cases the symptoms only ramp up in severity after a week, so he may indeed be mild for now. Even with ‘mild’ to moderate cases though people can have severe headaches, fatigue and a very painful cough with breathlessness. But relative to the most severe cases those symptoms are considered ‘mild’ (doubt a lot of sufferers would agree with that description, but it’s relative)

Dont believe that was the point the reporter was making. This is when Trump would always make an appearance somewhere, to push back hard against any bad press. Its been crickets. We dont know for sure when Trump caught Covid.

I could be wrong but I read somewhere he gets tested every day or at the very least before the debate, I mean you'd presume he'd have daily testing if he's going out and about? But then again...

As I hinted would happen, Trump has been given a ****tail of antibodies that have shown positive results but have yet to be fully approved by the FDA. It would have been nice if all the others that were infected and passed away had the same treatments available to them. Especially after how he downplayed the virus and lied about its risks.

Yep, shameless stuff, though this treatment has only been part of a very small study that's not been peer reviewed (about 275 patients) so it may be the new hydroxychloroquine

This would back you up, when the UK prime minister got hospitalized, his press team BS'd it was just a precaution and that he was fine:
