Sure any kid with a computer is the source. Knicks are the number one click bait franchise. It's all just for ****s and giggles.

However, the possibility does exist. As it does for every player in their last year, teams with multiple mediocre PG's, teams with as much cap space as we have, teams that are in rebuilding stages, teams with history of making dumb moves. But as I said, Knicks always have the most rumors due to the high rate of clickability. So probably bull ****.

So we have Knicks fans who think Ntilikina is worth little more than a second round pick and then we have the former world Champion GSW who want to trade for him (obviously because he's as worthless as these Knicks fans depict him)... kinda gets people with a brain to thinking

Smart teams will trade for PGs after their third year because they've lasted that long in the league and look to have learned the NBA game - the dues have been paid and the player is ready to contribute inexpensively for years to come.

So of course the GSW would be interested in trading for Frankie. WHY in F'n world would we trade him for a bag of peanuts is the question. What you want back is a player with potential who has also paid their entry dues into the league - not a second round pick, not the ballboy, but a player with upside.

You'll notice nobody is asking for Randle our 20 pt per game "keeper". Try getting a second-rounder for that.

Frank is a Luca Killer.
Long time ago Kentucky Colonels had a dude named Wendal Ladner. This dude used to mess Dr. J up defensively. In fact it was outright dangerous what he used to do. Best thing was Nets to roster him.

I have no interest in trading Frank for the same reason other teams would be interested in acquiting him... he's young, wouldn't get us much in a trade, and he just started to pull it all together... we have much more to gain by helping Frank figure it out than we do by trading him

If GS is interested in anybody on the knicks. Those are the players we should keep. Whats the issue with Frank? I think people are comparing his output to where he was drafted. But if he was drafted 2nd round, we wouldn't be talking about frank.

I think you lock up players like Frank to a long term, but cheap and flexible contract. Bank on him taking that next step. Or trade him if there's no progress. But to let him go for a bag of nuts is crazy. He plays his role, doesn't hurt the cap, and is one of the most respected and low key guys on the team. Plus he's young and in his prime.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

A team like GSW know they already have multiple scores on the roster, and they are really not looking for him to score, they are looking at him for a role like a Shaun Livingston..

The knicks have no scorers, and are desperate for a talent upgrade with have so many holes to fill.

If your a frank fan, you would want him in the best situation to be successful regardless to what team thats on..If your a homer, you want frank to stay here and continue to struggle and don't want him to have success on no team except the knicks

If you have 3/4 of a brain one gets this but don't respond to every frank comment.

This would be a good time to work out an extension for Frank. His value is at an all time low, he hasn't played with smart players, that are capable shooters and the spacing has been terrible. He's shown little offensive game, but he finally has a coach in place that's willing to work with him and appreciates defense.

Fiz was awful and jerked him in and out of the lineup. Let's see what Woody and the guy from the Jazz can do. It would be nice to play the young guys most of the game with a couple of vets that are multi dimensional mixed in. If we can swing the Conley trade it would be nice to get a guy like Ibaka in on a big one year deal. Hard to be a point guard with no one around you other than Mitchell Robinson.

If it makes anyone feel better, if the Clippers keep floundering, Kawhi Leonard might end up a Warrior. He doesn't appear to want to leave California again. I don't see the Clippers wanting Wiggins, but it would be better than nothing.

Nobody jerked him around, dude had 4 coaches that gave him the green light. Frank just doesn't play NBA basketball, he plays a Euro style of ball, and thats what Phil wanted, or else his focus would have been on mitchell or DSJ

He defers because that's how he grew up playing, thats how he was taught. You ever see a scorer in college that gets to the NBA and start to defer. In 3 seasons he's never taken more than 12 attempts, and has did that less then 10x in 178 games

Does anybody feel Sexton will develop into john stockton, jason kidd or steve nash, absolutely not. You know he's a score first guard.

You post in "absolutes" and give examples of "extremes" in a world full of nuance and grey area. You are talking as if the Knicks are in win-now mode instead of near the bottom with a long way to go. I would think that to build a successful roster, Step #1 is to assess and not be reactionary, and Step#2 is to have a full roster at a manageable salary against the cap in order to establish progression and a basis of a winning culture so you can Step#3 draft/sign/retain top tier guys.

Frank has use and he is not a Salary Cap hardship. What he has not had is NBA continuity from a roster, coaching or system standpoint. I agree with MS - extend him while his value is moderate/low. Build his value and re-assess as the team and roster progresses.

I’d rather have a Stockton, Kidd or Nash then Colin Sexton.

In order for the GSW to trade for Frank N, their only practical trade path is 48/51, plus they'd have to take on the implied tax burden associated with Frank N's salary.

Will Frank N be worth the tax cost? Will he produce more than someone they could sign with the veterans minimum? Will a guy on the veterans minimum give you 50-60 percent of a Frank N, without the draft pick cost, for no commitment? Also the league foots a portion of any minimum veteran's contract, so there's actually a cash savings as well.

I was never a fan of Fizdale, I did think he was worth giving a chance after the Knicks hired him because at that point, what other choice was there? But I want to be fair to Fizdale, in terms of minutes, Frank N had to fight for and earn those minutes. The job was always his to take. To say the Knicks short changed Frank N by signing this veteran or that veteran is not the whole story. Frank N's job is to take the bull by the horns and leave no doubt, make the job yours and make it hard for anyone to want to pull you off the floor.

Because of the value of 3 and D wings, the pipeline for players will change. Finding an elite one will be hard, but college players will understand if they want an NBA job, they are going to have to push into these roles. I would wager replacement level 3 and D wings will see a spike in quantity in successive draft classes. How much better is Frank N than a replacement level 3 And D wing?

He could break out on another team, but sometimes you just have to move on.

Fizdale was horrible. He and Perry absolutely hated Frank and considered him a mistake by Phil they inherited.

If you’re going to complain about Frank’s shooting and bench him because of it why are you playing scrubs like Payton, Ellington and DSJ who play no defense and also can’t shoot
