Yep
Has done squat for the Knicks.

Got us Mitch

The centerpiece of our youth movement was a 2nd round pick! And he didn't panic at the trade deadline. He moved Morris for a pick as opposed to trading picks and young players for players with long contracts that dont move the needle.

Perry has been ok. He may be the Mike Miller to Mills's Fiz. He's better than Mills but I wont shed any tears if he leaves...

I did not hear any other players but Saukas so what’s the big deal? Not a good pick but nobody lobbied for another did they? I did not hear anyone else at that spot.

I really thought perry was brought here to Iron out the relationship with Melo and KP towards the FO, he was suppose to be known for his player relations and NBA contacts, and he did nothing at all and instead made 2 sub par trades of your 2 best players.

He has traded all of his best players (Morris, Kp, Melo, THJ) for 2nd round picks and late 1st round picks

This looks pretty sensible to me. The FO gets paid no matter what. The owner holds the responsibility for it all.

Its his team to do what he wants. I keep telling you guys owners play a big part. Not all of them. But most have final say on big things.

He came in and got a better deal for Melo than was was being reported. Go back. Melo was out.
Did they not fire Hornacek? Bring in a very player friendly coach? Were you not all about how bad THjr was and it was a franchise killer, but now he looks good and your like “how come we could not get more?”
Morris is a good player inflated because we sucked. Cuz he looks good next to two HOFs you now feel sellers remorse? Knicks did bette without him. Not saying it was his “fault”, just saying he is a good role player. Nobody is happy about KP leaving for what we got in return. I’m sure Perry is not either!
IT was what it was.

I thought Mills and Perry had a reasonable fallback plan once the Durant/Kyrie mirage evaporated back into the magical thinking kingdom of Knicks media hype and fantasy.

But they were saddled with some uncomfortable realities.

One was that Fizdale was a wholesale bullsh@t artist to everyone except other NBA bullsh@t artists.

Second was that Plan B, sensible as it was, was still dependent on signing the best of what talent was available. When Randle proved to be a dud, Mills took the fall but Perry's reputation was equally diminished.

With Dolan, yet again, legitimately attempting to assemble the right chemistry, Perry is an unfortunate rather pedestrian level talent in that scheme. He can leave without adversely affecting the new trajectory.

Given the job is Leon’s to mold the franchise, I’d say Perry stay or leaving won’t be huge. WE don’t know what exactly Perry was tasked with.

Hope Perry gets what he wants. If there has been a Knicks GM who has set the table better for his successor, while having less to work with at the start. Id like to hear it.
