![]() I'm still trying to find the video that showed his weaknesses - this has them about halfway through. The fact he played 3 games or whatever, hurts. But, I just see a really big guy that to me, doesn't have the grace on the court that Mitchell Robinson has. To me, he'd be a downgrade with hope of potentially becoming better than Mitch is. If Ball is there when we pick, I think I pick him first, then if he is gone, look at next available BPA. |

![]() can wiseman play D, including out on the perimeter? If not I'll pass. We've seen this movie before
i'd rather build a defense around a center, than an offense (at least in today's rules) (5)(7)

But the Knicks have needed a top-flight PG for the past 15 years, and I think Mitch is going to be a DeAndre Jordan type center next season. Ball has the potential to be the best PG we have had since Mark Jackson. I think the pick has to be Ball. The only way I draft Wiseman is if I had a trade for Mitch where we move up by trading Mitch and possibly getting Killian Hayes and a future pick. If we came out of the draft with Wiseman and Killian Hayes and a future pick, then I could get behind that move. Picking Ball is not a matter of just "we need a pg." I think Ball will be a 20 pt, 9 ast, 5 rb, 1 stl, 1 blk, 45%, 36%, 80% type player in 2-3 years. That is All-Star production at the point position. This kid has his brother's ability to pass, but is far more creative with the ball, and has much better scoring instincts. Just like with Lonzo, he is going to have to work on his shot, but Lonzo has turned himself into a solid shooter, and I think Ball will be an even better shooter/scorer in a couple of years. I think Ball is the best player in the draft, and he and Barrett will give us a Washington Wizards-type back court combo in a couple of years. Wiseman is a good prospect, but I would not draft him at the expense of Ball, when we already have a pretty good center prospect in Mitch. Trust the Process
