And don't forget BK.

Next month, it will be Clyde.

It's amazing the amount of douche-bag activity one can overlook to continually **** on the hated owner. I get it, Jimmie should sit and listen to the **** and just smile quietly in his own building because he's the ******* who is singularly responsible for making this franchise into the pile of **** we all know and love.

Jerking Spike off, yeah that does smell like an "I'm the owner, you just own seats" payback.

But siding with someone acting out and spouting off like an oversized drama queen is just slightly disingenuous. I just wonder what the reactions would be if Dolan had just been sitting quietly in a luxury suite for any game he attended, and Oakley was just clowning off and getting carted out by security.

I hate to hear what he thinks about Marcus Camby.

It’s the value of NYC. We have the worst record over the last 20 years and not a marque talent to speak of, it has nothing to do with the organization.

Ewing would have taken an assistant job like he did in Charlotte and Orlando.

Dolan tossed Oakley because he was critical vocally in the media, not because he was drunk. The same way he tosses fans that are critical.

The value of the franchise only has importance to one person and shareholders— no one else. Dolan gets no free pass here. All of this could’ve been avoided if he kept his little trap shut. Patterns are correct— no wonder why the guy has had trouble with alcohol and divorce. Look how he handles the Knicks? Absolute worst owner in sports history who drops to the level of kicking kids out of msg. So while Oakley wins the original argument he losses favor by stabbing his mates in the back. Grumpy grandpa is right. But Dolan is the grand poo ba. Maybe we can pitch in and send a Napoleon hat to Jim to wear at his seat? He’ll be sitting by himself the next two years anyway

Ehh, hopefully just next season.

Allanfan I think we can enjoy sports on tv than with fans perhaps at 1/8-1/15 filled stadiums/arenas.
Right now I think reality is this is gonna take some time unfortunately 😞

Oh I don’t mind. In terms of just that.... I haven’t been to a NY sports team game in years besides one Rangers preseason game a couple of years ago. Tickets are way too expensive and the Knicks are currently not worth throwing that money away. Besides, I pay attention to the place on TV. They play music and noise on the loudspeaker for almost the entire duration of the game. I think they started doing that to drown out the fire Dolan chants. It’s actually kind of intolerable. The music and noise is good sometimes but every second sucks. That alone will keep me from going.

So on a selfish POV I am good.

I can vouch its similar to Hawks and Hornet games. Losing just sucks.

I think that music stuff is usually reserved for fans that just aren’t loud so the constant music is either to pump them up or make the building look more fun. I think in the Knicks case, either someone ordered it to drown out the negative chants or that guy Steve Stoute thought it would be a good idea. He was wrong if it was his idea.

I don’t know. I kind of started noticing it right around when Spike got kicked out. They would play music or noise. It would continue after the whistle then continue when play starts again. It might not be distracting to others but it is to me. I generally don’t pay attention to the fans besides noticing if they are quiet or loud. But I do know there’s been reports of Dolan banning a lot of fans for the anti-Dolan chants, especially after the Spike news.

Oh good. Glad to hear. So far everyone is okay. I had my gallbladder removed last Summer. With the nightmare occurring in the hospitals now, I am glad I needed it removed last Summer and not now!

I'm glad you got that over with last year and came through okay. I am hoping not to have a heart attack or anything during this time.

I hope you or anyone doesn’t either. I have faith you won’t.
