I would like to see trier, but Ellington is interesting and worth a look. So is Bullock and Knicks have options on them for good prices next year.

In the remaining 20 Knick games, Miller need to show some development in the majority of the Knick young-core players .. a lot of the Knicks one year contract Vets are just that.
News Flash .. Randle, Portis, and Bullock's performance has not complimented any of their teammates performance throughout the season.

Payton & Ellington's performance should be the only two vets in the guard rotation receiving 24 or less minute per game the remaining 20 games.
So there's no reason why Dotson & Trier should be DNP the remaining 20 games.
It was foolish of Perry to have FIVE SG! And 4 PG on the 2019-20 roster.

SF-Harkless all-around 2-Way hustle service has complimented all his teammates performance in such a little time on the Knicks. The next NBA team head-coach and FO would be working on giving Harkless performance an extension contract, especially if Harkless consistent performance improve throughout the remainder of the season.

Portis high scoring performance has been inconsistent at both center & PF position throughout the season.
Randle received a long contract from Mills/Perry.

I am ok with Mike making players earn minutes- I bet Knox improved way more this year than last - and if you're young you should be able to fit in w vets- RJ Mitch have easily, Frank and Knox are looking better within the system - I think they've shown they can fit in with good team play. I'm much happier with this year than last.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

This quote from Miller in the post sheds some light on why he was playing the vets more than some have liked. If we want to attract vets on short term deals, we need to show them that they wont be buried on the bench at the first sign of trouble.

“The thing we were very conscious of, the players’ window to play, their careers, go by so fast that none of us are in a position where we can just let a year go,” Miller said.

I’m not going to hate on Perry for Payton. At 8mm he has been solid and appears to be a good team guy.
Better value this year then Kyrie. 20 wins not much jumps off the page and says “Happy”.
POrtis seems to have found a better rhythm since Morris is gone. Can’t say it’s correlated but the eye test says he is better.

Good point..

It's hard to imagine who's going to really be here next season.
