Trying to draw free agents with Fizdale not because he knows how to coach but for all the wrong reasons. Well free agency didn’t go as planned now you’re stuck with a crappy coach and no end in sight. Make the damn move need and get a coach in here that know how to develop talent and get a plan of action here ASAP. You don’t have to waste a year to implement a plan.

So you want to reset and start over now... hmmm.. And wait another 5 years FROM NOW to watch winning team.
Ok. Good plan. Refreshing.

It took walsh a 1 yr half to turn this around, got rid of all of I T super bad contracts, drafted Danilo, Chandler, shumpert

just like the ****ing Knicks to trade the best player they drafted since Patrick Ewing, on his rookie contract, to sign a bunch of overrated mercenaries who were happy to get paid for one year. Our only hope is if KP just implodes. I think the guys sucks big fat donkey dong but whatever.. life is too short..

the only benefit to this cluster **** that I see is that we will have another high draft opportunity. IF we got to trust the process then there could be worse things than trusting Frank, RJ, Kevin, and Mitch and adding whoever to the equation. We get to add more too because of KP. So we have some lotto tickets and winning the lottery is our only ****ing hope

We used the contract we got from Billups, paid him off. Rules then allowed us to sign Chandler. Few teams would spend like we could then. Basically Chandler's first year cost team 28mm. 2011 money was a lot.

Rainman, your over simplifying the process.

Donnie:

On April 2, 2008, the New York Knicks announced that Walsh had agreed to become their president of basketball operations.[2] Walsh immediately recognized the expensive long-term contracts the Knicks carried, and traded Jamal Crawford for Al Harrington. That same day,[when?] Walsh traded Mardy Collins and Zach Randolph for Cuttino Mobley and Tim Thomas. Though Mobley retired of a heart condition, his contract, as well as those of Harrington and Thomas, expired at the end of the 2009–2010 NBA season, decreasing the Knicks' payroll by $27 million and giving them enough cap space to sign anyone notable from the heralded free agent class of 2010 which included NBA players such as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Joe Johnson.

Walsh's first major signing came on July 8, 2010, when he signed Amar'e Stoudemire to a five-year, $100 million contract. In the 2010–2011 season, Walsh made a multi-player trade with Denver involving star players Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups coming to the Knicks in exchange for a few players, including Raymond Felton and Danilo Gallinari, and undisclosed amounts of cash.

On June 3, 2011, Walsh resigned as general manager, but remained with the team as a consultant.[3]

Tyson:

On December 10, 2011, Chandler was acquired by the New York Knicks via sign-and-trade as part of a three-team trade,[26] joining the Knicks on a reported four-year, $58 million contract

So the deal would have been on Grunwald watch.

If I woulda-coulda ..
Hire a better NBA consulting President/GM than Mills/Perry.
Hire head-coach Jason Kidd or Casey 2 month after they loss their job.
Hire Fizdale to a 1 yr contract to Tank-Tank.
Resign Starter center DeAndre Jordan on July 1st, to mentor MitchRob, plus the KP trade wouldn't be looking so bad.
In the 2019 off-season hire one of the many unemployed NBA head-coaches along with Mike Miller to the Knicks coaching-staff, especially after having a 17 win season.

What to do NOW ???
Let Mike Miller be the interim head-coach the remainder of the season to improve the ball-movement in the half-court & transition offense, plus add some effort & speed getting back on defense plus add some help-defense on the wing, and boxing-out for the defensive-rebound.

Losing the Zion sweepstakes is not looking horrible for the Knicks. Barrett is legit. Knicks issue is easy to see from a fans perspective. The roster is extremely flawed but in some ways it is on purpose, due to simple fact, next year they will hit the reset button with the roster. But during this guys are having their development stalled due to veterans playing. Knox can shoot, he needs to be on the court more and more. And the Coach has to finally give in and let the Frenchman run the team and have the kid NOT LOOK over his shoulder, expecting to be yanked.

whaaaaat?! LMAO!!!

Did you really just place him at the same level as Paul George?????

I loved KP and hated to see him go but comments like THIS is why I don't ever take Knick fans seriously. lol
