I dunno, I kinda wish Grant Hill the best and hope he returns to at least 70% of his former self. He's a phenomenal talent, great to watch and always came across as a nice guy. It would be great if someone returns from bad injuries and plays a season or two of solid basketball. I wish Penny could!

If I was married to Tamia I would have retired and Tamia would be working on her 5th child by now.....With a wife like that who needs Viagra?
She has some sort of disease now. MS I think.
If he comes back though I think it's a great story. 3 years on the shelf, wife sick blah blah. I never thought she was that hot EnySpree, she aint no Beyonce ya heard.

C- Cato PF Howard SF Hill SG Mobley PG Francis and that is as good as any team in the east.
Is it as good as the Knicks in the east?
PG: Marbury vs Francis: Edge Knicks SG: Mobley vs Houston and Crawford: Edge Knicks SF: Hill vs TT: Edge Knicks--I'd rather have TT on my roster at this point in their careers PF: Howard vs Sweetney and Kurt Thomas: Edge Magic, most likely (we've never seen Howard play an NBA game) C: Cato and Battie vs Nazy and Baker: Edge Magic
I don't know how much Grant Hill has left, but I wouldn't be too quick to give the edge to Tim Thomas.

I'd very quickly say that I'd rather have TT than Grant Hill on our roster.

my biggest worry with grant hill now is how much quickness did he actually lose because grant was never a good shooter, had that akward form, he was good at penetrating and getting to the line and hitting within 15 feet at times, but his jumper was always suspect. at best grant hill should be happy to contribute, play some defense, get some boards, dish a few assists....

Sorry to repeat something that I posted a couple of weeks ago, but it's relevant to this discussion. I'm still struck by seeing Hill play in the Garden a year and a half ago during one of his many comebacks. He was definitely awkward with his movements and quite limited physically, yet I found myself watching his every move on offense and defense and being mesmerized. Every single thing he did was smart, constructive. No wasted motions, everything fundamentally perfect. It was like watching Duncan during one of his "on" games or a typical Magic Johnson performance. He ended up with 15 point and 14 boards and I remember the word that characterized his performnace for me was "efficient" - every thing had a purpose. It was actually kind of moving to see this guy out there performing that way. I know this is getting a little sappy about a basketabll performance but I figure since I'm talking to a bunch of fellow hoop junkies that some would get why I'd be so impacted by seeing him out there all hobbled yet playing like that.

They let shaq go for the love of penny, they reward penny with a sick contract only to watch him go down, they let Ben wallce go to detroit for grant hill, and now They traded away the ( arguable) best 2g in the league.
I can wait to see what happaens with Stevie, and Mobley.
