Kyrie definitely going to the nets now
Tweet was deleted or there was problem with the URL: They must also be signing another max, maybe butler (wasn’t there that rumor months ago about him teaming up with Kyrie) or Tobias. |

Personally...I think it is a smoke screen....I just do not see the draw of the Nets.....they have none in the city.....NYK was 17-65...and still was a draw over a playoff across the river.

I don’t think it matters if the Knicks or Nets are a draw. They still get paid what they get paid and the Nets have a better roster with less media attention. Nets and Hawks can't finalize the deal until after the draft, so why do the deal now and lose 2 first round picks unless they definitely know Kyrie is going there and they can sign a second max? Kyrie is going to the nets, I don't know how much more proof you need. The only question now is who is the other max? KD, Butler or Tobias? |

There was noise about the Nets seeing Russel and Irving fitting well together. I think that's what going to happen. It's a no defense backcourt but I don't care, it's not the knicks.

Thank god we aren’t wasting our money on kyrie. The guy has peaked and is still a terrible defensive player.all those injuries are catching up with him he looked dreadful in the playoffs. Also not a leader.
KD I could swing either way . The real prize of this free agency is Kawhi Leonard. We should go all in on KL ! |

They can now sign one max and Keep D’angelo.
The fact they are not a draw is whey they are doing this and its good basketball. A playoff team with what they have now and can add a “Star”. For the player they go to a drama free playoff team and get paid. Perhaps media attention is a bit less because its the NEts. |

Would also like to add a shooter at 2, e.g., Klay or Middleton (who is still underappreciated as a player IMO) (5)(7)
