Dolan is a complete piece of **** and is the biggest reason for this organization's long-time failures. He's also been a reason in the past for why free agents hesitated or haven't come here.

I'll never understand that kind of ultra-conservative thinking. I would risk losing a trash owner if it includes the possibility of another trash successor if there's even a sliver of hope that whoever buys the team is going to be the right person.

I was observing as the events were unfolding and had no doubt this is going to happen.
The Garden will be moved from current location. This is inevitable.
So the future of Knicks is in limbo.
May even go to another City altogether.
Some thing can be spoiled beyond repair and Knocks looks like this kind of thing.
I think that press should start changing the tune on the franchise and have more humility.
Otherwise they will have nothing to pray on.
It will be also the moment of truth for the fans.
Who wants can jump the ship with no impression of being a traitor.
Clearly a new beginning is coming.

Garden is not moving....they spent a $hitload of money with the renovations a couple of years ago...I think it was $1 bill spent....they are not moving...

They don't have a choice. The city has refused to renew their lease above Penn Station so Penn can be renovated.

Local NY politics....they are not moving...they will be tied up in court if it is pushed for the next 30 years

The next owner who knows...one would have to assume that if you are buying a team for that kind of coin ..you have a printing press at home..but who knows...

Money talks.
The new transportation hub can amount for 100+ billions of investments in infrastructure.
This money will crash the Garden like it was never around.
When this will be decide they will move the venue to any place and it will cost nothing comparing to the overall project cost.

Knicks alone without Garden is not worse getting.
If it will happened this will be a package.
Whoever get the garden immediately gets the money compensation from transportation hub project.
Then he can use it for new venue or move the team to another place or other owner and pocket the money.
If some mafiosi from Russia or Mexico want to laundry a couple of billions it is one in the lifetime opportunity.
Nets was used for this already... why not to do the same trick with MSG?
Just witnessed the same thing with my local tennis club.
Russians bought it for 1 million in cash delivered in the suitcase, put up 500K in renovations and immediately sell it for 1.25 millions to local Italian owner with loss.
Now money stolen from Russian people are 100% legal in US and they can write off taxes on loses for years to come.
Same thing just 1000 times smaller scale.

Would you sign for NJ Knicks if it included winning as much as prime NJ Devils? (3 titles, consistent division champs) but no MSG or Dolan
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Fandom is random selection so why not to stay with same symbol.
It is local for me leaving in NJ so why not?
