Would have been a bad idea to trade KP so soon, in large part because of his brother. Would have taken us to a whole new level of dysfunction. It would be crazy because many of the knocks on Phil's willingness to put in the work, was true. Phil literally phoned it in.
Thought it was already accepted that Dolan stepped in, which was the right thing to do. The problem with Dolan IMO is that he went from playing backseat GM, to being an owner who didnt know when to step in (like with Isiah), back to one who pulled the trigger too fast.
Dolan went from one extreme to the other. Believe that he's learning to show a better touch as an owner. Was a long learning curve, but better late than never.
