How about those numbers? The first number is KP's FG% from his 3rd year. The second number are his total rebounds. This is a 7'3 big man we are talking about. That's some weak sauce. KD called him a unicorn, perhaps he should have called him a fairy.

In all honesty, with a good creative ball distributor like Doncic and on a team that has a better offensive system with more passing, KP's shooting percentages should go up. When he was coming into the league, he really had no one-on-one scoring ability. His points came from playing within a team offense: on putbacks and open perimeter shots. To his credit, he developed a bunch of one-on-one moves, which were often effective, but also sometimes bizarre, like watching him at 7'3" try to crossover dribble or seeing him get pushed around by a much shorter defender. With more opportunities to score within the flow of the game on easier buckets, he'd be more efficient, exhaust himself less, and take less physical pounding, thus reducing risk of injury.

Or maybe he has beefed up while rehabilitating his ACL and be more effective at the power post-up game with better % shots.

agree...i do think he's going to come back better

He did not have any post up moves, the shots that he created for himself in ISO were all 6 feet and farther. Hence the low %. Why ? My guess is as good as anyone's but I'll go with being adverse to contact.

KP hasnt done ****. Melo despite his flaws still gave us some playoff games . At least. He didnt demand a trade,he didnt tell other play ers not to come here, hell he even went to his exit meeting with Phil despite their feud. Im not a Melo fan everyone knows that BUT I respect his professionalism and he wanted to be here. Janis and KP can f#ck eachother.
