Vonleh was viewed similarly. Was given up on by 2 teams prior to signing with the Knicks. Now he is one of our favorite players. The ability to contribute without being featured is critical for winning teams. Frank has that potential about him. Sure he hasn't produced towards our liking so far, but I would absolutely hate to see a Vonleh situation unfold. Hornets would absolutely love to have Vonleh in their lineup right now.

Frank also regardless of his struggles has put in work this season. He stays late after every practice. He puts in work during pre game warmups. He works his ass off on his game.

Has to be only a matter of time before that type of work starts to pay dividends, right?

That said I would't be upset if we landed Ja Morant this coming draft if we aren't able to net Zion.

You had me till Ja Morant. Not impressed by this kid, maybe I missed where he plays any defense (haven't seem a lot of him)

All you need to see in one clip... check out the two handed block in this clip. Kid is special

He does look good. Less of a highlight reel on this clip and more passing which seems to be really crisp. Still got Zion and Barret in front of him. But staying in the top three of this draft is very important. Reddish seems to be disappearing in games, the drop off after 3 will be precipitous.

Definitely worth knowing a bit about a guy before calling him a dumb @ss.

4 bottom team have almost identical odds and 5-6 are not to much worth.
So it is a matter of luck more that any time in the past.
But at least we can buy more tickets that others.
We did our part so it is no disappointment if we miss.

Never called Mitch a dumbass either, I was definitely not happy with the pick when it happened and I thought he wasn't smart for dropping out of college. Still think it's a stupid move, but I have also said I was wrong about the pick itself. He has definitely won me over with his defense, still want him play smart and not foul so much.

Agreed, can't change the rules but tanking does allow you some control to change your odds of winning by getting to the best possible odds(bottom 3). Cue K1428 rant about lottery and not winning 32 games a season by mortgaging the next 15 years, to make him happy.

You called Mitch a dumb ass on draft night in the draft thread. It is still there if you want to look for it. It was quite the combination of arrogance and ignorance at the time. If you knew anything about Mitch you would not have posted it.

Your opinion doesn't make me arrogant or ignorant. I reacted to a pick out of left field on guy who wasn't on anybody's radar and yes dropping out of college is a complete dimwit move, that hasn't changed and won't change no matter how many articles are written making excuses for him. You go out of your way to intentionally lie about me and misrepresent what I said to prove a point on public forum.

Spoken like the basketball genius that you are.
Mark this one down. As if you needed more great predictions to add to your great history.

I didn't make a prediction, I said I hadn't seen much other than a couple of highlight reels and no hint of defense. Go jerk off on the altar of Honey Nut Cheerios.

Eraser boy!! Whats with you and always thinking about guys jerking off? Keep telling you, keep that **** to yourself or save it for your other favorite sites. This is a respectable site. I'm telling your mother.

Now back to basketball. Once again... Only a true genius quotes on a kids defense (your go to), yet says in the very next sentence "but I haven't seen a lot of him". Maybe, unlike every other time you post, you should do some research before you form an opinion.

This kid is very talented, physically gifted and extremely young. He is exactly the kind of pick that teams should look to take chance on in the top 8. Think Zion also fits that mold. But to say a kid this young does not play defense, without seeing much of them, is pretty "Erasar boy" like. Know this kind of player does not impress those of you wishing for that "solid off the bench defender" as a lotto. This kid is exactly what teams hoping to become relevant again should look for. Once again, maybe look around the NBA amd see what type of players are creating success.

Ah yes the return of the prodigal dimwit.
I said "I missed where he played any defense on the highlight reels". Maybe you should do some reading before asking people to do research. I don't have time to research draft picks, I have a day job, commitments for most evenings and a family - which is why I asked the guy I was responding to what his defense is like. He had no torouble understanding what I wrote - just the losers trying to create their fantasy profile for me on this website. Go back to jerking off- at least no one has to read your pathetic attempts at humor that way.

Mitch obvious raw talent.
He dropped in draft because he is not polished.
We took him for his deep value potential.
Many knick fans can type the words "Rebuilding" but don't understand it.
Lets be real, "Information becomes Knowledge when its experienced". We new rebuilding would take while. Phil could have jumpstarted it but with 2 picks in three years out the door he tried to massage it with Melo,Drose and Noah and bring KP along. On paper not a bad idea. Reality was it sucked. OK, that's water under the bridge.
Rainman and his legion of doom prefer to get emotional about this and rehash. Have at it.
Bottom line is the reality of the moment and ahead.

Mitch will need a few years. Same with Frank and Knox. Im good.

Agree - but he dropped in the draft manily because he didn't play college ball at all. I am OK with taking risks, Mitch seems to be turning out OK, just like the risk on Noah, Rose etc. didn't. Doesn't make one risk better than the other or one decision better than the other. This is what 90% of the people don't understand about risk taking. When you take high risk high reward moves, hitting one out of 5 is pretty damn good.

Yes, uncertainty to a large degree reduces value. Embiid went third behind Jabari parker and Wiggins.
His back injury and uncertainty caused that. In hindsight I think Clev and Bucks would like to have that one back.
But in the moment that's what you do.
Mitch did not demonstrate in college and his work outs did not obviously warrant first round status.
We really won't know the value of this kid for two more years. Most fans can't handle this. Rainman especially. Knox is really what I expected of him. Flashes of good but inconsistent. Frank offensively has not shown himself yet. He has played for two coaches now. We can go over this a thousand times more and you either love the kids potential or get sour based on knick history of NOT developing. Thing is the key to success is making lots of decisions, creating many opportunities and then you create opportunity knowing the law of averages are NOT in our favor. The higher the pick and younger the player then perhaps patience is required if not TOP 3 pick. Other than passing on Donovan Mitchell do we have any real serious regret regarding KP, Robinson, and knox? If lady luck is not our friend, can't we at least be happy that Trier has been found?
Lack of wins sucks and it sours most things. If you let it. Knicks were unwatchable last night. Really I get enjoyment now in losses if Knox, Trier, Mitch or Frank do good things. I think We did a good job with Mudiay actually considering where he was last year. Is it enough? Of course not. Nobody is saying he is out of the woods and deserving of a big contract.

Sounds like asking is a better approach then passing judgement when you don’t know something.

Eraser boy! Your jerk off fantasies continue. Pathetic. Dont know why your mad, just stating how you are always commenting, like a dumb ass, on things you know nothing about.

LMAO.... Dont have time to do research? Just 24/7 to post uninformed hate on UK site.
Family? Mom who lets you stay in her basement.
Day job? Youtube poster and UK troll is not a job.

So is Ja Morant a good pick? Curious to hear another useless uninformed opinion.

BTW. Did you order your DSJR jersey?
