We could really benefit from a Rubio-type guard that can lead the young guys and serve as a stop gap for a couple of years. Think how well he could help KP, Mud, Trier and Knox. I'm not sure what it would take to get him but I think he would help our team more then a Kyrie (although Kyrie more dynamic and offensively gifted). I think he may be the best fit for this youthful team in need of sacrifice, mentoring and leadership. Who else is out there that is a better fit?
Rubio is a free agent. Let’s jist sign him. He would be an excellent fit.
Didn’t realise he was a free agent- could be a nice option. Still annoys me that we couldn’t pull off the Rose for Rubio trade a few seasons ago.
The key question for me is do we keep Mud, Frank or both
Add N.Vonleh to Muddy and Frank as well. The dude is balling out for us and i'd love to be able to keep him but he's earning himself a lot of looks and a pretty nice contract with how he's been playing for us.
