Actually it doesn’t. Only KP and Frank (and Thomas) are better than average defenders. Maybe your joint pops for that team but they win no more than 40 at best and out in round 1. I liked Fournier lots but I would rather have a Marcus Smart than Evan Fournier or a Jukius Randell than Beas or Thomas. Crabbe Fournier are complimentary shooters but not multi dimensional. Clarkson - who’s available may end up being better than either though he plays little defense.

How many elite defenders did the Cleveland Cavaliers have in the finals last year? Kyrie? Love? Tristan Thompson?... I'm trying to figure that out.... when golden State won their first championship... how many did they have? Draymond and Thompson.... who else? You can say iggy defibately... who are the other lock down guys?

It's more about team defense then having one or two bums with defensive reps. You have to score the ball. You can't win unless you have more points.

With this current squad we have tats all we have to go with. We could try to get Randle Who we talked about before and nobody wanted him but now all of a sudden they do... Marcus smart fg shooting in the 30s... I still love the guy but you guys are kidding yourself thinking were going to win with these guys as focal points.

Only knick fans would cry about getting Fournier for basically free. We get KP, Fournier, KOQ, Frank and THJr as starters, we somehow don't get better? Talk about defense... KP is legit, Frank is legit. THJr has proven he is adequate. Beasley too. KOQ is legit too. Fournier is not a *****, he mixes it up out there.... you mean to tell me our defense would get worse? Our record would stay basically the same? That's crazy to me.

If we're paying $17M/year then yes I want more than what Fournier gives us.
