KP should drive on German Autobahn on this car - there are no speed limits in Germany, only recommended speed.
But they have minimum allowed speed on each Autobahn lane.

So your a dumb ass in an are wher a $5 dollars bribes a police officer. Congrats

I did this like 100 times.
You leave as per what the environment of the country is at a time.
People in US are under impression that all world is leaving at our moral standards.
Guess what - not even close.
As Russian saying goes - "Leave with the wolves - act like a wolf".

in 90ies cops was waiting for bribes like that, but things change and nowdays you will end up in jail for soething like that.

Yep. That's why Latvia is normal country now. Russia on other hand is still same as in 90th if not worth.
And they are not even worth as far as corruption goes but prob close to worth.

This is getting hilarious quick. You kids go ahead and blame Russia on your close to none English proficiency!

To my Latvian friends - kas te notiek, kurā klasē, jūs puiki mācaties?

doing 105mph in a 55mph zone? That's just irresponsible.

of course its irresponsible, but so what? what does this mean other than the fact that he drives fast?

Speaks to character and personal responsibility. Doesn't mean that he'll turn into something bad or that something will ever come of it. KP is 22 and all young folks make a poor decision from time to time, but if he keeps making decisions like this it will effect him personally and then his ability to perform as a professional. He gets into an accident cause he spins out of control and out for portion of season? He continues to speed cause it's now part of his nature and gets into accident? Then what? Is he young and everyone does it or is he a fool?

As a high level professional, your whole career is about making really good decisions and making really good habits and sticking to them so you can build up from that.

Team is about to put him in a position of focal point and leader. Act like it.

Not a smart thing to do :/ feeling disappointed

Hope he realizes how irresponsible this is. Showing his age but hopefully he learns from the mistake.

Depends on the situation IMO. Speeding while weaving in and out of traffic, thats one thing. Opening up your V-8 on a near empty stretch of highway is another.

This. Nothing wrong with having a little fun when it's safe to do so....for yourself and the public.

I think we expect more from him. I know he is still young, but was still a bit disappointing.

It is just stupid...and reflects on his judgment. Does not mean that I'll root for any less than I have in the past.

if he's a fool then i'm a fool too. i think a lot of this is typical jumping to conclusions and 1+1=3. theres been numerous times here in nj; on the parkway, on 287, on 78 where i know there are no cops hiding that i've pushed it over 100 with no one else around. does this make me a fool? maybe? but for kp's situation, there is a lot of this that is not reported, like if this was a busy roadway that he was on, switching lanes like a crazy person of if its a patch of road with no cars and he wanted to gun it.

i'm not saying this should be a normal occurrence for him, but let's not pretend that at 22y/o and we were driving around in the cars that he's driving around in that we wouldn't be doing the same thing. again, to me, a lot of how i would view this was if he was putting other drivers in danger, if he was weaving in and out of traffic like an *******, then yeah, this shows no remorse for the rest of society and i think that shows a lack of maturity. but if he was just trying to push the limits of his car on a roadway with no other cars around, i dont think its that big of a deal.

This how you end up after finishing Russian school in 70th in Riga Latvia.
Bad Russian, bad English, no Latvian...
But I am good in Java and C#...
It provides better income that correct spelling in any language...
