I like XRM over Randle, who came up short during the Summer League. Although Randle has a guaranteed contract, he could use more seasoning in the G League this year.

Randle is running out of time. Dude might just have to go overseas and make his money there.
He is so close. Sad these tweener guys just can't find the right situation. Talent is not always the determiner.
As for XRM, he is the flavor of the day. He is 23 and he went undrafted. His father went to FSU, went undrafted and mostly played in the CBA and overseas with brief NBA stints.

I don't think that is correct

He's gotta find his game... he let Ron Baker out work him. Ron was a shooting guard when we drafted him. His evolution into a point guard was impressive. Randle isn't a true point. He's a very good shooter. Shooters shoot not pass. He's not a good passer

XRM has a small window to impress.
Always love a good story, maybe he can be this years "Baker" and make the team.
I give Ron a lot of credit for sticking and making the grade. Not easy!!!

I think Phil left an imprint here. His preference has been big guards and it makes sense. Thus, Baker out hustles Randle and is bigger. Likewise Frank N. XRM is not franks size but bigger as is THJr and Dotson ...

You're correct. It's 1.3mil, but not guaranteed.
