Just don't pay attention to the spastic tumors that happen to be in the locker room with him. They like him only because he's likable and he takes shots and they want to be like him. The sun will the re-emerge from the eclipse and the Sixers will send us all their first rounders for Michael Beaseley.

All of this is really a bit much. Melo is liked by his teammates. That has its limits in terms of real value to the team. In the end he's a Catch 22 cuz in order to win with Melo you a team has to cater to him and make up for his weaknesses to such a degree that it's not worth the effort.

The Knicks need to move on from a Melocentric approach to team building. At this point what's the upside of your points about the Knicks Management during Melo's tenure? OK so they failed to make it work with Melo at the center of the build. Thing is they no longer have to keep trying to make it work. They can move on from Melo and focus on a New Young Core.
