Second off, it would probably hinder his chances of developing. I certainly hope they give him time because while he went up against decent completion he really didn't play all that much. I hope they don't rush because he has the size and length to eventually be a nice piece but I just don't see it this year
Ummm, Frank probably played as much as the top 3 draft picks COMBINED. He's ready to be a starter for us from day one, even at his ridiculously young age. He's got great fundamentals.
1) Seeing as how you've seen him play so much, I'd love an assessment of what you think Frank does well or doesn't do well
2) I had no idea 18.3mpg was a lot of minutes... here I was thinking 30mpg was a lot. Oh wait, 18mpg isn't much at all. Is 32 games really that much more than college? Oh wait, no its not
to be fair it was 45 games and that was only Euroleague.. arent there Euroball games also? Some other bracket? Although his minutes were only about 20mpg I remember reading he played almost 2x what the average NCAA player does. I think he will be better than most think, I think he can be a nice spark off the bench running the P&R with Willy in the 2nd unit. Probably about the same minutes.. 20.
all right, let's say he played 45 games last year:
45 games x 18.3 mpg = 823.5 minutes
now let's compare it to Lonzo Ball:
36 games x 35.1 mpg = 1,263.6 minutes
so, Frank hasn't played as much as Lonzo Ball... forget about the top three guys in total.
I really wouldn't be splitting hairs about this, except I want to make it clear that reub has no idea what the hell he is talking about and is pulling bs from his butthole
I do think Frank has a chance to become a really, really good player. My only point is he HAS TO BE the point guard of the future because he likely will require patience to flourish and develop... is that being unrealistic? Giving time to a young prospect coming to a new league and country? Not every Euro is going to develop as quickly as KP - we sort of hit the jackpot on that front
