As of right now the roster is :Pf:KP
Sf:Melo
C :Willy
Pg:Ramon Sessions
Sg:Tim Hardaway
Courtney Lee, Frank, Noah, Kuz, Lance, KOQ, Randle, Dotson... possibly Baker.
What happens next?
Noah misses 15% of the season without even being injured, and then plays 10 games and misses the rest of the season.
Replaces Rambis on the bench before a riot breaks out.
We don't get to waste time and effort praying that Noah and Rose stay healthy and not brain dead like last season.
You must be one of the few truly brave people on the board projecting Melo starting at the 3. Not sure why, but I don't think Willy is going to start, at least not right off the bat. He was something on the order of -51 total in games he started.
Knicks will and have to trade Melo. After having him on the block for so long, comments, they will look like even more of a laughing stock. For Melo's sake , I hope that is the case. They are just waiting to have any offer that does not include Anderson or that Noah is taken back if Anderson is included. Think at end of the summer they will be forced to take anything. Even Anderson (Which would be a mistake)
Agree about Noah and Willy. The lineup should have been KP at 5 Melo at 4. It would have been interesting to see KP at 5 Melo at 4, THJR at 3, Lee at 2, Frank or Sessions at 1 this year. You would then have seen WIlly off the bench, KP playing some 4, Kuz and LT sharing some 4 and 3, Dotson at 2 and Baker at 1. And Noah as team Mascot.
But like I said, Melo is a guaranteed gonner. He is tired of experiments and the Knicks need to move on to KP trial. Hopefully they will do a better job surrounding him with talent. Dont count on it.
